Posted December 10, 20177 yr Oh my god. It's even better than I thought. Why did you use the OpenCL driver? Was there a problem with the normal CUDA path? It should be significantly faster.
December 10, 20177 yr I know but didn't works. More lucky those to run it with compatible feature version. I will try again next week wish LGA 2066. 3 of those monsters should do the job... not worry about 4 Edited December 10, 20177 yr by H2o vs. Ln2
December 10, 20177 yr Good that you ran Win7 this time and not 10. Now show us how it performs on other benchmarks
December 10, 20177 yr Less that 2ms improvement on windows 7, thanks for that. Don't worry... next Galaxy pcb will be 4X8 pins.. jk Edited December 10, 20177 yr by H2o vs. Ln2
December 10, 20177 yr Author The windows version doesn't matter for GPUPI, so that's not a surprise. What was the error with CUDA? Can you it to me please, I will look into it (matthias at hwbot.org).
December 10, 20177 yr With CUDA the benchmark don't even start (no calculations) and give an error after 5-seconds. Next tuesday I will try with LGA 2066 (R6E RMA) and post you the error if persist... on the new WR Edited December 10, 20177 yr by H2o vs. Ln2
December 10, 20177 yr Score is extremely epic, please try Heaven Xtreme that can run good on 115X, needs LN2 cpu but if gpu runs good, score should be high Edited December 10, 20177 yr by Alan_Alberino
December 10, 20177 yr Twice the previous generation...great Could you please run 3dmark FS/FSU/TS or any kind of 3d benchmark...This card is epic
December 10, 20177 yr @Alan_Alberino I'm not good at and close the benchmark after 5 second as for me looks like Titan XP performance under 5.5Ghz But I run Unigine Superposition 1080p Extreme with a modest i7- 7700k @ 5.6ghz https://benchmark.unigine.com/leaderboards/superposition/1.0/1080p-extreme/single-gpu/page-1 Edited December 10, 20177 yr by H2o vs. Ln2
December 10, 20177 yr Please finish it just to compare... Use normal tweaks and high LOD, have more tweaks but that should be enough to estimate performance
December 10, 20177 yr For 3D, I personally compare Titan V with the 2D performance of Xeon LGA 3647 processors. "Works only in SLI". Incoming 2 NVlinks just because I saw gold-plated connections that Nvidia don't show, even if NVlink was declared unable/disable... I hope this will entertain others like "phil" Edited December 10, 20177 yr by H2o vs. Ln2
December 10, 20177 yr They said it was disabled in bios, used same pcb as Tesla V100 but disabled NVLINK in bios, hope you can find some workaround
December 10, 20177 yr @Alan_Alberino (bios) I hope they don't. For first need to make the pcb necked, and give a space to the nvlinks then improvise a watercooler...my specialty. Edited December 10, 20177 yr by H2o vs. Ln2
December 10, 20177 yr Almost 11000 ,pfiuu.Twice the performance of gtx 1080 maxed out. If can run this today on CUDA should be almost 3 Titan XP... but I don't aspect nothing close to 1.4 Titan Xp on Futuremark if not in SLI, Vince's 1080ti/skills will still there. December 10, 20177 yr You guys hating on him shouldn't. This is the feeling we give water benchers all the time. I give him respect on massive scores and sharing the experience.
December 10, 20177 yr Epic... haters gonna hate... crazy how fast it is.. please show some gpu scores.. excited to see.
