Possible to make login an overlay again and not a separate whole page? Also doable to not redirect to main page every logon and remember the page I was on? Also anything can be done with logoff every 100 ms? It is super annoying, no other site I use log me off nearly as fast as hwbot.

Indeed my bad, I didn't saw you could import it here, so it create a way to import BM datafile/score but still let the user specify the score/HW before, could that lead to some issues ?

Anything you typed in will be overwritten by the data comprised in the benchmate or other datafiles

 

There is no menu button rendered at 1200px. The issue appears on 1200p portrait monitors

And at 1201px the whole page would render in a desktop format

So, the request is, please, shift the transition of mobile-desktop view to 1200px (maybe even lower, for portrait 1080p users)

When I'm on a P45 motherboard page, if I click on "see other P45 board", I end up with a list of motherboard sharing the same manufacturer and same chipset/NB where you would expect to see all board using that chipset regardless the manufacturer.

1. Would it be possible to highlight the "Submit" botton again like in the old design? It is by far the most important button in this menu bar after all.

2. Also on the old design there was a section on the bottom right showing previous scores with that bench and hardware combo for you. Required login of course but very useful for things like 32M where you may run it cold over many months or years and want to reference back to previous attempts.

3. The "used in other benchmarks" section was also quite useful, would let you easily find the iGPU associated with a CPU or get a sense of whether a particular motherboard is good for 2D benching:

When submitting a result , and you start filling all the related memory tabs ... if you don't fill the model name (or it doesn't exist in database) then you submission is totally empty in memory specs when you upload it.

Although you have written everything else ?

1. I prefer the old cup and medal design over the current one. They were more shiny, 3-Dimensional and simply more appealing than the current flat look. Reduction of details is a modern sin, please let them have Identity.

2. Displayed position of Rank is missing in tables on the team site and propably more. Just wastes time to count the rows each times. See 1st pic for example.

3. In Portrait mode or smaller windowed mode the entire menu bar right from "Home" dissapears. Makes the bot unusable on rotated monitors even in full hd full screen use. I prefer this display method to watch lists. It would be great if that could get fixed. See 2nd pic.

4. +1 to the request of giving back the table for a log of a users own results in a specific benchmark. Seeing improvement of runs and racing/comparing against my own hardware is a key feature of why I loved using hwbot.

Thanks for the work and I understand that a general overhaul was needed to keep everything alive. Right now its just unfortunate that hwbot is below the old standart of features and usability. Also didnt see the call for volunteers. A post on the discord announcement channel would have been very justified.

 

I want the bot to get up on its legs again as qick as possible. How can I help?

 

Not a programmer, but I have a backround in Media Design and well... quite some time to test stuff. If you need a hand in that let me know.

I don't know if this ever worked, but searching on batch number doesn't work (as in, it's not filtering on batch number).

 

1. When looking at someone's profile under Submissions -> Benchmark Types -> Filter Benchmarks, it should only show the best result for each CPU/graphics card/etc. Please see the screenshot for an example.
I now realized that it shows all scores in chronological order when "Filter Benchmarks -> All Benchmarks" is chosen, even if they are outdated/receive no points. Maybe you could implement it in such a way, that the logic for "All Benchmarks" is kept and once a specific benchmark is chosen, it only shows the best score for each hardware.

2. I see a similar issue with the Search function. It should only show the best result for each CPU/graphics card/etc. matching the search criteria for each user:
User 1 - CPU1
User 2 - CPU1
User 1 - CPU2
User 3 - CPU3
...

In the Search function I'm missing the "Show only user's best result" button, which should then only show the best result matching the search criteria for each user. The above example would change to this:
User 1 - CPU1
User 2 - CPU1
User 3 - CPU3
...

3. Like someone else said before, it would be great if we could get the ranking back of other scores with the same hardware in the same benchmark if you click on one of your own submissions.

Reporting a submission for "other" gives error 400, works with other reasons.

Selecting other + another reason is still possible.

should be fixed in the first patch that Tim installed today

Previously, logging in would return you to the previous page you were on. This doesn't happen anymore, so something as simple as commenting on a score requires Press Login -> Enter Details -> Wait for the login to complete -> use back button twice to return to the correct page -> hit F5 because the page otherwise things you are still signed out. Is this something that could be re-implemented?
