Well there are categories for all VIA processors already. Its just hard to tell which is the correct category as CPU-Z doesnt detect them properly. Without having a real picture of the CPU, its a guessing game. But adding stuff just because of a CPU-Z validation is not the way to go.

On https://www.viagallery.com/epia-ml-series/ we see a picture with an Eden ESP 5000 but there could be also a C3 800 Mhz from description text. On the other hand there were also other combination with Eden ESP 6000. Also there is a sub in our db with an Eden ESP 10K and the same board. So it can be everything. User said its a 667Mhz processor and its a possible ordering combination. So nothing left to do here.

I've sent and e-mail to Franck Delattre too, maybe he'll fix this in new CPU-Z. Looks like he didn't know too

The manual states ESP 6000 and C3 800. First with passive cooling, second with active (common solution for VIA boards). Taking a look at the photos we can see the passive solution (it has a different heatsink than the active one even without the fan). Nice find with 5000 and 10K though!

Not to mention that VIA C3 1266 doesn't seem to exist at all.

Right, it probably does not exist. However its VIA so you cant be sure at all. But the point is, that schnelly changed the multiplier to oc which you can do with every VIA CPU and the right programm.

CentaurHauls CPU

This is from VIA's design subsidiary so should probably fall under VIA. It can also be overclocked :D

Centaur Processor @ 2199.49 MHz - CPU-Z VALIDATOR (x86.fr)

Interesting, this is some unreleased / new Zhaoxin CPU right?

Seems like CPU-Z support is broken / not there yet for this one. Could you add a photo of your CPU? Also a report for the guys over CPUID would be appreciated.

edit:

Found the article at Tomshardware. Added the CPU to the db:

Guessed most things, would be nice if you could add some more info on this, like whats the actual socket.

I know its a bit late in the day as ive been using this card for ages,

would it be possible to get my XFX RX 590 Fatboy OC+ added,

mainly as ive set a couple of records with now and if i leave the clocks blank in a sub ie stock then it gives the wrong stock clocks for my card,

mine are 1580 core 2000 mem

i'll leave links to tech power up and xfx for both versions of the fatboy if it helps in any way.

@ViNsTeR777, my understanding of the hwbot hardware database is that the clocks quoted are the reference clocks for the partucular GPU, not any custom AIB clocks. You may ask to have the series of the card put in if it's not there already, eg "Fatboy" in the case of your xfx card.

I understand that the clocks might not be changed, it does mean that the overclock percentage will be incorrect like it is when I post my stock clocks, it says I'm overclocking rather than stock, and if I leave them blank it reports the wrong clocks, I'm not too fussed about the inaccuracy, however it would be nice to be able to list the correct hardware

Easy, never leave the clock blank and the OC% will be calculated with respect to the reference clocks for the GPU.
