If you can find 3218 or 3231B, go for it. I haven't been following this thread too closely, but those are the batches of the best chips I have seen on here. 1 Quote

Calathea Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 (edited) Another 3570k (too expensive too bin 3770k) 3237B348. 1.36 volt 5 Ghz 32m air. Max 1380 ram @ 1.12 vccio. Probably a 6,6 chip... a well it runs colder than any chip before could be a nice everyday chip. Hmm, make that 1400 MHz at 1.08 vccio. Unstable as shit. Edited March 8, 2013 by Calathea Quote
nachtfalke Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 another two 3770k cpu´s batch# 3229Axxx both seems have same behavior on air: 32M pass 4c/4ht-1,280v only difference it was the IMC : one 1520 and another 1540, i will test soon both on LN2 http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2722681 Quote

xxbassplayerxx Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 (edited) Alright... 1.400V 5GHz 32M 3570K did 6.55 valid, 1M at 6.4 and 32M at 6.3. IMC does 2800+ with four DIMMs with only 1.15 VTT and IMC. I'll be testing soon for a bit higher. Batch is either 3227C or 3240C. I'll update this post with it when I check. EDIT: 3770K is 3227C and is horrible. It won't boot at 5GHz on water no matter what voltage... I have to boot at 4.9 / 1.525V and move the multi up one. EDIT 2: 3570K does 32M at 1.40V on the OC Formula. UD4H just needs more volts. Edited March 13, 2013 by xxbassplayerxx Quote
Calathea Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Wow, 1.475 is pretty crappy. 6.55 valid is kind of more than I'd expect from such a cpu. Quote
xxbassplayerxx Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Wow, 1.475 is pretty crappy. 6.55 valid is kind of more than I'd expect from such a cpu. I agree. My 3770K at 1.525V 32M was more in line with where such a bad chip should be---6.3 valid. Quote
MaJ0r Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 another two 3770k cpu´s batch# 3229Axxx both seems have same behavior on air: 32M pass 4c/4ht-1,280v only difference it was the IMC : one 1520 and another 1540, i will test soon both on LN2 http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2722681 Did you test them? Quote
nachtfalke Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 not yet , i´m very bussy with my job...i will test them very very soon with LN2 i tested one with single stage ~ -38 degrees Quote
xxbassplayerxx Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Updated above. More testing on 3770K. It's the worst one I've ever seen... won't even boot 5GHz on H2O 75% of the time. Quote

I.nfraR.ed Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 (edited) Yeah, mine is similar. 1.28V for 5GHz 32M, 6.93+ valid, 6.85 1M, 6.5-6.6 3D. Just for comparison - my teammate has almost the same cpu (same batch as mine) which hit 5.93 1M and 6GHz valid on SS with similar volts. Edited March 12, 2013 by I.nfraR.ed Quote
Calathea Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Wow infra, 5,93 GHz 1M on SS is pretty strong. I guess it's good rotary SS? I will try my new 1.36 volt 3570k on SS -50 this week. No big hopes really Quote
I.nfraR.ed Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 (edited) It is one of the standard LittleDevil's SS. -54 on the evaporator head, I think. CPUs are from the good 3218B batch. Edited March 12, 2013 by I.nfraR.ed Quote
xxbassplayerxx Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 I updated my post above. My 3240C 3570K does 5GHz 32M at 1.40V on air/water, 6.55 valid, 6.4 1M and 6.3 32M. Quote
Calathea Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Measured with DMM? OC Formula seems to have some magic of it's own Quote
xxbassplayerxx Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Just BIOS and software readings... I definitely need to do more testing but I'm crazy busy right now. Quote
SonyHD Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 (edited) L221B395 Sucks. IMC 2500 Sucks EDIT: L236B948 Dead after two hours, from unpacking the box. 5GHz 1.42V H2O, IMC 2400 CODE 23, 62. Edited March 15, 2013 by SonyHD Quote
