Didnt bother noting it though.

Tried on only M5F and M5E here, but seems Dinos had the same problem with GBT.

EDIT : Dinos said : just kidding man lol. i just use 640 cause i just do, didnt see that before LOL

So guys try it if it's interesting, all we think it's mem fault.

I was testing 32M for 5Ghz LCC with BBSE that is known to run 2600+ c8 and no matter what I was always getting not exact in round every time with maxmem set to 620, I usually use 670-680 but for testing purposes I figured I should try a few different values.

I will retry with 640 and see if this changes anything.

i generally just use 640, no i didnt actually see any difference in any value but will try push ram to the edge and see if i can replicate that

YES,i found that too.I get that error dozen of times, sometimes out of reason. Now i test at 640 and it's huge improvement, only getting not convergent in sqrt when close to limits.Great find hiwa ;)

Interesting for sure, I usually use 600-620. A tad more with single thread only or OS gets choppy.

600 at 26xx ?

This is less than 640 maxmem, but with this ES I have can run 1m/pf all day 2620mhz but cant bench 32m over 2500mhz not exact in round within the first 4 loops.

This was at 620maxmem. I'll give 640 a shot next time.

So can be CPU problem again? 2 CPUS here have the same problem. but one friends cpu can do it with no error at 600 maxmem.

I run 1300MHz+ mem (Samsung) and 600MB Maxxmem and never a problem... but i've not spent a LOT of time with 32M and ivy yet

Hi,this was at 600 maxmem ,seems to be ok at maxmem (600-680)Could just be cpu related

problems seems to increase when using cw - most of the time can pass 600-680 without cw but as soon as cw is in the game there will be many problems. 640+ improves things but without maxmem at all runs will pass much more often...

Did some testing today...

I7 3770k

Asrock oc formula

Gskill pi 2200 cl7

Memories 2600 8-12-8-28 and maxmem 600 and 640 passed 100% of the times. Did waza 4times and 3 of 4 times crashed. Some times SQR error, last time it freezed at 8th or 9th loop.

Seems that here I didn't have problem with maxmem, only when i run a waza run..

Alex

if CW causes your 32M stable mems to crash, try loweing the Vmem or raising the Vccsa
