May 14, 201312 yr So 320.14 beta is out. Anybody tried? :-D Yeah I know we probably have to wait longer than that, nevertheless good to hear they have found the problem.
May 14, 201312 yr Well let's see... Â Hey those drivers didn't let me use lods (no effect thru setlod or nvinspector). Is it me or?
May 14, 201312 yr Author Give me 20 minutes, i'll test    EDIT: 320.14 tested. LOD worked fine for me, but 999MHz cap is still in place.   Next! Edited May 14, 201312 yr by K404
May 14, 201312 yr Thank you Kenny. As usual I missed something  @CN: We had been accustomed to more responsiveness from you... hurry!! ^^
May 14, 201312 yr Crew Give me 20 minutes, i'll test    EDIT: 320.14 tested. LOD worked fine for me, but 999MHz cap is still in place.   Next!  Can't get it too work Kenny in 05/06, via Inspector ?
May 14, 201312 yr Author My 3D11 was all LOD'd. I did notice the LOD option had "(DX9)" written after it, but I definitely had LOD- No FPS details visible, no MSI logo on the sub   I installed on top of a 314 driver.... no idea if that would make any difference. I can't imagine anyone installing a fresh O.S. to test these though???
May 14, 201312 yr My tests were with GT610 on Aquamark and 01/03... same render, no lod applied  Edit: on very old OS in fact Edited May 14, 201312 yr by Eeky NoX
May 14, 201312 yr Author ok.... so what am *I* doing wrong then?? Â I hope nV do not fix one thing and "break" another. We need/want LOD + MHz
May 15, 201312 yr Author I was testing some bits n pieces last night after a reasonable volume of whiskey. At half 1 in the morning, I realised i'd installed a fresh 7-64 O.S. that was different to yesterdays, with the 320.xx drivers and was running Unigine Extreme with LOD. Â So.... if I did that, LOD DEFINITELY works, at least in 7-64 Â Â Â (I had a great night!)
May 15, 201312 yr Whiskey? oO R U MAD BRO? If I were livin in Glasgow I won't touch that sweety irish beverage... ISLAY OR DIE!! Â Well I think it's my fault... even if my OS is a tweaked XP, I really need to make a brand new one. I think it's the key for LOD.
May 15, 201312 yr Though I keep missunderstanding difference between WHISKY & WHISKEY ^^ Â Â My last bottle (not an Islay lol)
May 15, 201312 yr Author I bet there are some exceptions to this, but if it's not Scottish, it has an -e- Â Â (Jack Daniels last night) Â Â This thread now has most of my favourite things in it. Â Here is a picture of some delicious cake: Â Â Â I think that's everything now Edited May 15, 201312 yr by K404
May 15, 201312 yr Lol shame on you C'mon and visit lil Brittany one day I'll teach you what to drink (umh! we should stop that OT I guess...)  Edit: ...or eat   NOMM, NOMM, NOMM... BUTTER! BUTTER! BUTTER! Edited May 15, 201312 yr by Eeky NoX
May 20, 201312 yr Confirmed Kenny's finding and Eeky , quick test on 460 with driver 320.14 w7x64bit , overclocked limit still is 999Mhz and that is for all Fermis , this sucks.
May 20, 201312 yr Yup really does Angelo  ...and now no data sheet available for Up1981 regulation chip of MSI GTX 560Ti 448c PeOC! F(L)uck that !!!!! Edited May 21, 201312 yr by Eeky NoX
May 21, 201312 yr Yup! uP1981A AGZxxx my pic is too blury to see next atmo... Â Seems some people look after it at yours before mate : https://www.google.com/search?q=datasheet+up1981A&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls={moz:distributionID}:{moz:locale}:{moz:official} Â Really sucks, cold slow+no data sheet+no ABX = card will keep on sleeping on the rig with SS improving a bit ...or not! (blows my head on!)
May 21, 201312 yr Kinda solves a mystery. Some drivers let me set more than 999, some didn't, (I'm only on water though, so YMMV) but newer drivers have still given better tri and quad 580 scores, so I don't feel totally forsaken.
