Massman
so those are MFR? Everything 2800 and higher should be MFR.
der8auer
Looks like the same kit which we had from Corsair for the Computex Main OC event. If yes - that's my kit: CMY8GX3M2A2800C12R 2800 MHz 12-14-14-36 @ 1,65 V ver5.

xxbassplayerxx
Hmmm... hope they don't expect you to set 2D records with that stuff (except frequency).
Lucky_n00b
some more news Hooooo boy we're getting an MFR, nice :D
Xtreme Addict
hmm not sure if nice... really I can't use other sticks than PSC/BBSE or Samsungs... but in fact I would prefer to play HYPER or some old D9... cause efficiency hurts my EYES on Hynix single sided But of course now we have mostly Samsung or Hynix, so we can't complain in fact ;D Edited September 5, 2013 by Xtreme Addict
Lucky_n00b
@ XA : In terms of pure performance, yes they probably can't compare to the PSC/BBSE/Samsung sticks that we used at home.. But its really exciting to see what a group of overclockers can do with an MFRs in a live event, don't you think?
Xtreme Addict
Yap, I agree with this, but I am thinking about SuperPI 32M  But MEM Frequency can be fun in fact
Crew Vivi Posted September 6, 2013 Author Crew Share Posted September 6, 2013 (edited) my equipment arrived! and some more info: what u guys think of 32M / cinebench and firestrike? Final score includes Super PI 32M (40% weighted), CineBench R11.5 (20% weighted) and 3DMark Fire Strike (40% weighted) overclocking performance growth score. Xtreme Addict
SPI - very good Cinebench - it's okay but if it would be replaced with CPU-Z validation, MEM validation I wouldn't be "mad" 3DMark Firestrike - it's okay, it was in fact "sure"

Lucky_n00b
Saw the notification e-mail. Nice Benchmarks! -SuperPi 32M = Challenging with an MFR kit, nice -Cinebench R11.5 = No Problem with it -3DMark Fire Strike = Yes Please! I wonder why they didn't use the Fire Strike Extreme though... Waiting patiently for my MOA Hardware, hopefully no problem with the customs.. Massman
I was told they were going to test the CPUs up front. But I don't know the procedure, or testing depth, or any more details than that.
