February 6, 201411 yr Crew Aleslammer, anyway 3Danalyzer and stuff like that is forbidden at HWBot. Pixel shaders are required only for tests 2-4. First test doesn't need them (and works on GF4 MX without shaders). The problem is with features like Cube maps and other, the Futuremark whitepaper describes them. And that's what Voodoo doesn't support AFAIK. And the main one - how about 32-bit color on Voodoo? most of them don't support it. yep. voodoo 4 and voodoo 5 support 32 bit. the first test won't run natively on voodoos because it needs t&l as well as cubemaps like you said.
February 7, 201411 yr I guess , i cant participate with a board (Asus CUV4X) that cpu-z CANT read the memory speed ? http://valid.canardpc.com/2nv9ep
February 7, 201411 yr There was special cpu-z for socket 370. Try it. link please. *edit* Are you talking about this one ? http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?t=53897 Edited February 7, 201411 yr by TASOS
February 13, 201411 yr For stage-1 http://hwbot.org/competition/feb_teamcup_warmup/stage/1240_cloud_gate_gt_610/ Can we also use the regular version of GT-520 ? Which is the exact same product to GT-610 (simply renamed). Exact same core (GF119) , exact same specs (Shaders / TMUs / ROPs = 48 / 8 / 4). http://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/285/geforce-gt-520.html
February 14, 201411 yr It seems CPU-Z detects wrong SDRAM clock on VIA KT133 chipset. CPU-Z states FSB + 33 MHz. 132 + 33 = 165 on screenshot below. However the real mem clock is FSB + PCI (Aida 64 shows this correctly)... In this example calculation is: PCI = 132/3 = 44 MHz FSB = 132 MHz Mem = 132 + 44 = 176 MHz So the question is - can I submit the real clock (Aida 64) or stick to the (incorrect) CPU-Z value?
February 19, 201411 yr on cusl2 and my other 370 the normal version works Yes because they are i815, but cuv4x have VIA chipset
February 25, 201411 yr Author There seems to be a problem with the competition submissions. Not sure what's going on, but hopefully we can resolve this ASAP. Sorry for the inconvenience!
February 26, 201411 yr Stage 4: chrome 25 vs. wildcat 800? might be interessting whats the best non nvidia/amd-vga? Edited February 26, 201411 yr by Luebke
February 26, 201411 yr For your last statement I’d probably go with a S3 Chrome 540 GTX or S3 Graphics 5400E x2 if the latter made it the wild. The 20, 400 & 500 series cards are non-existent on Ebay figured there would be a few floating around somewhere must of had a little HTPC market share.
February 26, 201411 yr Yes, the only S3 Chrome available on ebay is the S25. Anyway, I don't have the resources to compete, so good luck to other teams.
