I have noticed in the past days many results being submitted, not as an actual valid screenshot, but a photograph of the screen. As I understood things, I thought photographs were not considered valid, since the system could well be frozen. Some of these results are even top20 HOF scores... Please clarify for me, thanks!

Im not sure if this is the correct place, if not please move. I need some clarification on 3d05 submissions. hwbot rules state that this benchmark should be run at 'default' settings. meaning, dont change anything in the settings of the benchmark. Thats the way I have always run it. When I look at the results for the benchmark I see the majoruty of users have the cpu tests disabled? including the top guys. I just looked through a lot of the scores for aquamark and 3dmark 01 and the majority of them dont have gpuz screens which is the only way to really know that Two 3870 x2's were actually used.? How else could you know that 4gpus were enabled? [crossfirex 2x 3870 x2] So instead of me listing the many results that dont have sufficient proof, could a mod please take a look through them. Aside from the insufficient proof thing Im baffled how someone can get 300k plus with 2x 3870x2 in aquamark using vista, I know its possible in xp with a single 3870 x2, try running the same set up in vista and you see a drop of 90k! anyway most of them just show the aquamark scree…

Hello, i've registered yesterday on hwbot and i have lots of old hardware that i decided to bench with but something ruined that and i will explain what happened. i started to bench a k6-2 333mhz and i obtained this scores : --- wPrime 32m version 1.55 - 801,874 seconds --- wPrime 32m version 1.53 - 588,064 seconds on the k6-2 333mhz wPrime 32m test who is in the 1st place with 682,631 seconds had used wPrime version 1.53 the wPrime specific rules say that it's mandatory to use ONLY the wPrime version 1.55 but the hwbot user that i'm talking about submitted his score before the implementation of this rule and probably before the release of the version 1.…

I submitted a 3dmark05. It was showing 3.4 points now it doesnt show any points but it is still ranked the same. Why is that happening? By the way its a 27095 on a 3870x2. It says its ranked 139th.

Hello. I have an on-board graphics card by ati (hd 3200) and while i was trying to upload a result, there wasn't in the available hardware. Please... add it as quickly as possible, because i have already uploaded 2 results. Note: I know that there was a thread in which i could tell the problem but i couldn't found it. Sorry.

If I found a good driver for benching but it didnt support a card I wanted to bench, would it be legal to mod the .inf so I could use the card with the driver? Cheers, K

oi! upon trying to verify a 3D01 run i get the infamous "Duplicate warning. You already have submitted a benchmark run with exactly the same properties. To prevent duplicates, we have not saved this entry. To view the duplicate result, click here." Yet when "clicking here" I get a blank page. No result. Its not even in the daily uploads. Had an e-mail saying one of my 3dmark06 scores is not valid. It is a valid score i still have the screen shot which i have re-checked all seems to be ok what is the reason for this score being taken down? Thanks Scooter

Benchtec using ‘disable processing’ to gain points in hwbot. It has been brought to the attention of Benchtec, that disable processing has possibly been used when running 3Dmark05 & 06 by some over zealous team members. Benchtec Team would apologise this possible infringement of the rules of Hwbot. This has arisen from team members issuing screen shots only and not accompanied by an Orb link. The team membership has taken this allegation seriously and many team members have withdrawn screenshot submissions only, whether disable processing was used or not, and will resubmit with the relevant Orb link. Hello, it is generally possible to copy results from one user to another one? A second account isnt allowed... so we decide to make one account for two persons, because we bench together all the time. Me and another member have our own accounts.... it is possible to merge them to a new/existing one? THANKS

Hi guys, I would like to ask you a question(hope this is the right session). This sunday I will going to bench with my Blackops+QX9650 on Win Vista. With the actual bios Cpu-z in Vista show only 6X multiplier with QX9650. My question is: will be my results valid on hwbot also if cpu-z show a wrong cpu frequency? Do you accept setfsb or Crystal cpuID with also Cpu-z? Edit: with FM link to Orb will be ok? Tks

What's going on with this benchie?...... I was benching it a month ago or so and everything was fine (well I could say fine DISPITE the thing that when you submit it online because you CAN'T save it and submit it afterwards - you get a wrong - and DISPITE that you HAVE to put MUNUAL some things in it AFTER you have submit it online)..... A couple of days ago, I re-ran it and I got an "INVALID" score...... I used the EXACT SAME setup and the same HD ......... for the checksum verification, is it required for all results (post rule implementation) or just for top 20? and what does top 20 mean, is it for top HOF global or top 20 HOF hardware or both? I have seen some recently submitted results that don't have the checksum verification, should these be blocked?
