The bench didn't actually run. And if you don't understand why then you should look up ssse3 and how your cpu doesn't have it. I guess I could buy one myself just to prove a point but you're hardly worth it

Main issue here is that win 7 doesn't work at all on raven ridge for some reason, even though it works perfectly fine on pinnacle ridge. So the only way to sub rr cpu benches is on win 10. Obviously this is a huge issue if you want to sub something like cb15 or spi, but it's the current state of things. Perhaps updated microcode will fix whatever the problem is on raven ridge so that we can get some legit scores on the cpu.

I am no expert on this arch by any means, nor am I participating in this comp so if ya'll would like me to butt out I will. However it looks like you're saying that a new stepping is a different core. This is silly. If there was an k10 1st gen limited comp (an arch I know a bit more about) you'd be laughed out if you tried to complain that a phenom 9650 was destroying your 9600, "Not only does it clock higher it seems to have 30% more ipc". Yet less than that is being done here and taken seriously.

Found cpu pot, just need a dewar now

Looking for a cpu pot and a dewar or two to get into extreme league. CPU pot can be shipped. Dewar would be preferable if I could pick it up, especially at the bench meet in Philly.

I think leeg has said that he doesn't want them in comps as they don't work with win 7, and there'd be too much drama trying to moderate "potentially cheated" scores. If they were allowed before it was likely a mistake.

What did your tertiary and rtl/iols look like? I had trouble getting mine to do what my psc would on sandy.

Have you tried appending ?recalculate=true to the end of the link for your subs and loading the page? Nvm, you're points are disabled not just not calculating

How do you do all the prep for ln2 and use the wrong OS? This isn't some kid on an aio...

Always sad to see ln2 scores where people make a mistake and mess up the screenshot with no backup. This is just another level...

It was not possible with kaby lake chips on z170 so it should not be possible with cfl chips.

I don't think it matters much on these, just keep binning. It took me about 4-5 chips to find my 109.9, and I had a few 108s and even another 109 in there. SS definitely seems to help as I'm not seeing the results in other's chip on ambient.

Didn't even have an efficient OS ? Literally just used one of my daily win 10 installs because it still beats my bench win 7 install for xtu on 1151. Guess it just needs the newer instructions cause win 7 is faster on sandy where the newer instructions wouldn't be needed. Overall a decent placeholder until I move to ln2.

I think this card is paying for itself for him, and not just in fake internet pts, after talking to him. This hobby has always been expensive, sometimes it's spending $3k on a single part, and sometimes it's spending way more on cpus/gpus to bin. Having a lot of "resources" has always been a requirement for setting world records, and there isn't anything inherently wrong with that.

His price is based on current market price for a 4770k. If you want a 5775c instead be prepared to pay, I managed to snag one for $250 a while back but usually they cost more than a 7700k or even 8700k would run due to the rarity.
