All of the rigs used for this record have cost a ridiculous amount, Titan V doesn't change that.

I've already explained this, if you check on the benchmark page you can see 720p catzilla scores don't give hwpoints, but do give globals. Other benches just give hwpoints and no globals (r11.5 for example). With catzilla I think the mods/admins etc felt that with 4 categories it was silly to give all points to all versions.

What kind of temps were you getting? As Lawrence said, easy gold at the meet

Hi, Just wondering if anyone else has tried using that XP, and whether they've had any luck? Got it installed and working with z270, got drivers installed and msi afterburner detects the drivers and card correctly, but I can't seem to open gpu-z. The hourglass briefly appears before disappearing and nothing happening, no error or anything just nothing. Tried new and old versions (2.7 and 0.8.6 along with one in between). Any ideas? Thanks

If you look on the page I linked, catzilla 720p gives no hwpoints but still gives global points. Not sure how else to explain it, the benchmark page clearly shows which benchmarks award which type of points.

I was just pointing out the examples given (ice storm, catzilla 576p etc) are a result of rev.7, but not due to the cutoff or the points algorithm. Simply it was decided they won't be awarded points anymore, much in the same way R11.5 lost globals.

Some benches lost points completely, you can check on: https://hwbot.org/benchmarks Both Ice Storm and Catzilla 576p lost all points, Cat720p lost hardware etc.

Ha I don't know if she'd consider herself an overclocker quite yet Thanks, so much still to learn with DDR4 32m, was just glad to get xp working etc. Not sure, also not sure about the disable execution bit or whatever that I think helps? Or maybe that's just older chips? Definitely more to come, this was no waza or tightened 2nd/3rds
