He validated it on the 3rd CU (CU2). Nonetheless amazing cpu. -

MSI Afterburner Extreme - how to get it?
I.nfraR.ed replied to Massman's topic in Extreme overclocking
This is the method we're going to use, but still unlocked ABX is more convenient. -

Watch out for delimiters. Enter frequencies and scores exactly as you see them on the tools and benchmarks - cpuz, gpuz, etc. I mean, don't write 3280,25, but 3280.25. If you use comma as a delimiter, the conversion string -> floating-point will fail. -
MSI Afterburner Extreme - how to get it?
I.nfraR.ed replied to Massman's topic in Extreme overclocking
I got a resonse telling me to download the normal version. Second response was that Extreme version is not public. Thanks, MSI, I didn't know it! -

Yes, but Massman explained that this is called Dual Graphics, not Hybrid. For Hybrid only Llano + 2-3 possible discrete videocards qualify. Not saying it's the right thing, but that's what he explained. As I see it the difference is the naming scheme only... http://www.cpu-world.com/info/AMD/Recommended_graphics_cards_for_AMD_dual-graphics.html Basically you should look at the first table only. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I've understood so far. There was a discussion earlier in this thread. -

You can't, it's not eligible for the 3DMark03 stage I don't know how to submit it as a regular entry in the hwbot database either... -
MSI Afterburner Extreme - how to get it?
I.nfraR.ed replied to Massman's topic in Extreme overclocking
Yes, I don't really expect a response. Who am I? Some unknown poor overclocker from Bulgaria. Wait, where was that? Is that a country? Guess I will use other methods to increase the voltage. -
I and my teammates have scores with 2.26 that haven't been uploaded yet. Never tried to find a cheat in it. Force it when it is working on all systems...

MSI Afterburner Extreme - how to get it?
I.nfraR.ed replied to Massman's topic in Extreme overclocking
What if there's no MSI rep in Bulgaria and I've imported HD7970 Lightning (new from RMA, no warranty) from US? How can I possibly get the Extreme version of Afterburner? Who should I contact? PS: I can't find HQ's email. -
No Explorer window opened. explorer.exe was running, so taskbar was active, but no window was opened. I ended up testing with 2.26.

2.52.107 still does not go to fullscreen on AM2+ system, just like 2.51. I see two black rectangles on the screen. If I kill the wrapper, then aquamark goes to fullscreen. Will have to bench with the old 2.26. I hope it is acceptable. XP SP2, AM2+ socket, dual-core cpu.

Gigabyte 790x-ud3p, possible to repair?
I.nfraR.ed replied to d3mox's topic in General hardware discussion
I have the same issue with my 790X-UD3P and I got a replacement mosfets, but haven't tried to fix it yet. IIRC it's even the same mosfet that failed. Don't even remember where I put them though. -

Mindblowingj - Radeon HD 7660D - 3591 marks Catzilla - 576p

I tried up to 2400 NB and ram has the same timings as yours, but higher freq (about 1250), tight subs. Usual loading time is about 17-18K and there was only one time it did 13K. Ramdisk didn't help at all, that's why I asked if it's reproducible every time, or at least 90% of the runs. -

You can try Asus. I believe their top board might be the best, but if your APU does not have a good IMC, then any board won't help. -

Not only for RAM, but also has no issue with bclk in IDE mode. 1300MHz is bad IMC. You're aiming at 1400+. And I feel Asrock generally more stable. -

Is this reproducible at all? I've managed to reach 13000ms loading time just once at your cpu freq and it seemed completely random. -

Yeah, I thought the same. I can only run it on Crosshair IV Formula and it manages to complete GT1 and GT3 only. On GT2 and Nature it just loses signal to monitor. Will hand it down to a teammate anyway, since I'm going to run a different slot card and will cross my fingers it works on his board -

I tried ours as well on 2 Gigabyte UD3 boards (rev3 and rev4) - no post, no beep. It worked awfully on Crosshair IV Formula, couldn't even finish the bench - it lost signal and monitor went into power saving mode.
