  1. Hey guys, I've taken the liberty to create a new subforum only for AMD Thuban overclocking experiences. If you're testing a new board or CPU, you can share your findings and ideas here. Also, if you have questions regarding overclocking the Thuban, just post it here. Have fun!
  2. This is correct. As far as I can see, there's no bug in the current algorithm.
  3. Well ... no. It's one thing to get a CPU-Z validation, but something totally different from having the six cores completely stable through a 3D benchmark. This chip can only do 5.5GHz Wprime 1024M iirc
  4. I noticed that the temps were dropping by ~10°C at 5.8G 06, so it seems that the dragon f1 isn't capable of holding the load. The CPU still scales with temperature a lot, so I'd say at least 200 to 300MHz more on the same chip when going LHe. Leaky chips would be even better ...
  5. There seems to be an issue on the side of the server since not only the front page is annoyingly slow, but also the admin pages. Looking into it

  7. The Gulftown debacle pissed me off badly, but I was lucky that there were two benchers capable of taking my mocking with a smile
  8. Again, a very nice event: lots of LN2, lots of benches, lots of overclockers. SoF, please let Michael know I hold him in highest regard. The event is just ... awesome!!
  9. Hey all you ES-haters out there! Over the last couple of months, we've been pushing retail-only competitions at HWBOT to make sure the playing field is even. In the contrary to what people are trying to say in this thread (and anywhere else), disallowing ES is not better. Yes, maybe it can give one or two persons the option to compete, but in the end those with retail-only hardware don't compete (I do see a couple of brave clockers giving it a shot - double thumbs up for them).
  10. Yellowcaps' problem has been solved.
  11. In the past, it did reflect the general rankings and people were asking for rankings to show what people contributed most to the team
  12. The ranking on the team's page is based on the amount of points members contribute to the team's total. How is that incorrect?
  13. There is no bug. The global points indicated in the team page are the total amount of global points that goes to the team. The ones in your profile are the total amount of points that go to your personal score. Because you can, for instance, get global points in 1xGPU and 2xGPU there can exist a difference between the numbers. Points in team page = TOTAL of Global points + TOTAL of Hardware points Points in personal page = SUM OF global points of best submissions + MAX. 300 hardware points.
  14. The Aquamark screenshot is mandatory for verification. Nothing we can do about that, sorry.
  15. There should be a video coming as well. FYI, for anyone that doubts - the SF3D CPU pot is very good too control the temps, although it will need a bit of training.
  16. Asus secret OC event . Strong looking results, boris. Single GTX275 doesn't look that good
  17. Yeah, I'm there. Anyway, looks like retail is picking up quite nicely lately and A0 has proven to be crap as well.
  18. Have you contacted FM already for more information?
  19. At Campus Party we have been testing 10x Q3FE ... none of the chips reach 6GHz even close to Vantage stable :-/
  20. Did you bench with the hwbot background?
  21. http://hwbot.org/forum/helpcenter.php Create helpcenter ticket to add the cpu.
  22. Removed the limitation. To bad the 01 hardware engine is no longer supported
  23. Time to end the misery and remove the FM link limitation .
  24. Can you publish the score (click on 'publish')?
