Only to cover MOA (10th - 13th of September), will be my farewell to extreme-overclocking, for now ;)

Finnish overclocker Sampsa announced his farewell to overclocking on XS. This Xtreme Overclocking Legend (being one of the first to embrace LN2 overclocking) was loved by the community and will be missed.

Some random pictures of him.

He was also loved by the Finnish overclocking community at Muropaketti:

Dammit, there's too much people R.I.P. recently around that I've thought of the bad from the title. Luckily, it's not that bad :)

I think we'll all miss Sampsa, there were thing to learn from him on XS. Hope he'll find himself new things he likes to do.

Massman, nice pics :D

For those in grief and/or in pain, please share you favorite Sampsa-story.

I laughed quite a bit when he killed "one of the 1000" AMD TWKR CPUs and people on the forums got mad at him :D

Sampsa @ some-bar-in-Vienna after a shot of unknown vodka: "Ewww, Swedish vodka! The finnish guys are now finished!" :D

Hehe. Yes this was a nice story. Was the time when the vodka bottle was broken^^

Our liquid helium benching session in Finland last summer was a great moment! Also the Intel events in Sweden will be remembered.

I'm sure we'll see more of him even if he's not doing any overclocking himself any more :)
