Hey all,

With this thread I would like to check the interest for a North American overclocking gathering. In simple terms, the idea is to overclock and bench for an entire weekend with LN2 provided by the organization.

Nothing is set in stone yet, but it would be interesting to see how many people would be interested in joining this event. Some details

  • Location: East Coast, not USA
  • Timeframe: Late Q1
  • Price: TBD, probably around USD $100 for unlimited LN2

Would you go?

So as Massman failed so hard...

Expected Location : Montreal - Canada

Expected time : Late Q1 2015

Note : To my USA fellas :D, yes this time YOU guys will have to cross the border ! ahahah

Vegas or nyc will be nice. Besides oc, we can relax for a day in wintry chills feb :)

I'm in and can bring gear for 4to 5others. Mr.Scott car pool?

Possibly. It's my busy time of year though. Can't commit this early.

BTW, I'm an Amtrak contractor, we can take the train for free. Fringe benefit. :)

We'll talk.

Classic issue with north America is that it's huge, xtreme overclock are rarely neighbors and getting in and out of the US is difficult and/or expensive. I would support a Canadian gathering but, may not be able to attend.

Problem is, most of us in US gotta synchronize our time off from work and family. Unless embedded with some big occasion (like computex in TW) it will be too much of a hassle to travel fairly long distance just for a weekend of overclocking. Especially those from outside No. America
