October 19, 20159 yr Is Impact officially confirmed? Impact is not allowed because there is no worldwide availability. Will add this to the rules
October 19, 20159 yr Max Memory Clock Rules The highest memory frequency wins. The result must be validated on http://valid.x86.fr/ HWBOT user name must match CPU-Z validation user name The screenshot must contain the following items: official wallpaper, CPU-Z (CPU, Memory, Mainboard, SPD) within 2% of validated frequency so besides valid file you need to take also desktop screenshot with official wallpaper?
October 19, 20159 yr I can only find it available on ocuk so I guess same as the Impact, not allowed.
October 19, 20159 yr the comp started, iam the only one who did not find the official wallpaper download link?

October 20, 20159 yr I can only find it available on ocuk so I guess same as the Impact, not allowed. It's available elsewhere. http://www.staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=Z170+SOC+FORCE&spos=3 But hey, let's not allow another board and make this comp even harder to enter. Great thinking.
October 20, 20159 yr List of disallowed motherboards expanded ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Impact is not allowed for the competition because there is no worldwide availability [19.10.15]. GIGABYTE Z170X-SOC Force is not allowed for the competition because there is no worldwide availability [20.10.15]. GIGABYTE Z170X-SOC Force LN2 is not allowed for the competition because there is no worldwide availability [20.10.15]. ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Extreme (and other variants) is not allowed for the competition because there is no worldwide availability [20.10.15].
October 20, 20159 yr That's fantastic. HyperX Fail. oh and btw, you can't buy OCF here in AU either so ban it as well.. Edited October 20, 20159 yr by JunkDogg
October 20, 20159 yr Author I don't see how it is HyperX's fault if motherboard manufacturers make "paper launches".
October 20, 20159 yr So who's fault is it? I can physically walk into a store here in Australia and buy a SOC Force so why is it banned from the competition? Not much of a paper launch when they are sitting on shelves is it? So by restricting people from entering who have hardware from the comp it can't be anyone but HyperX fault can it?
