Nik Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 CPU load temperature must be higher than 20°C .........>20C Greez Quote
Administrators websmile Posted July 31, 2016 Administrators Posted July 31, 2016 Yes, and this is MSI´s rule. It does by no means change the rules of hwbot for the participating leagues - rookie, novice and enthusiast is ambient cooling, this means sub zero not allowed. Just wanted to make this clear before someone grabs the pot or ss or power chiller and thinks he can kid us - MSI and hwbot reserve the right to remove/reject any submission without justification Quote
Also nix min 20C CPU Temp? Greez Nik Quote
Quote

TAGG Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Are i3s excluded because temp sensor doesnt work with OC BIOS? Quote
Administrators websmile Posted August 14, 2016 Administrators Posted August 14, 2016 No, there is still the package temperature shown, this should do the job Quote

Administrators websmile Posted August 15, 2016 Administrators Posted August 15, 2016 (edited) Ice bucket not allowed, no difference to chiller P.S. Will be hard to determine what was used anyway, but we will check temps also with common sense Edited August 15, 2016 by websmile Quote
speed.fastest Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 Ice bucket not allowed, no difference to chiller P.S. Will be hard to determine what was used anyway, but we will check temps also with common sense Thats it, i can compensate H2O Ice in the pot temp when default setting idle 2 Celcius, if you upping the vcore CPU Idle can go to 20 Celcius+ So people can do benching, than after that up the vcore to compensate low temp. That is what i do last year ^^ Quote
Nik Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Always the same problem, last cups have the first 3 all icewater. Quote
Hilderman Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Always the same problem, last cups have the first 3 all icewater. So why the change now? Quote

Nik Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Iceater, Icewater, Icewater...........and the same rules !! http://oc-esports.io/#!/round/msi_godlikeoc_ambient2d Quote
speed.fastest Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 (edited) So why the change now? Because with Bucket Ice basically you not Enthusiast again, but Apprentice I think there are many Apprentice Overclockers that still in Enthusiast because they choose wrong cooler category, no offense ^^ That is what i do last year ^^ Oh. Yep i do that, even with the pic of PC, i still Enthusiast at that time ^^ speed.fastest`s HWBOT Prime score: 4608.93 pps with a Pentium G3258 Edited August 17, 2016 by speed.fastest Quote

Christian Ney Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 For those with Core i3, if HWMonitor isn't showing CPU Temps, open the motherboard temperatures, it is going to be there (TMPIN3). As additional info, open HWiNFO who will confirm this like in the example below: Quote
Nik Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Its ok only open the Hwmonitor, and show the TMPIN3? Quote
PKBO Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Hi, what about 11C temperature cold air from room with aircondition ? Its dissalowed ? Cause this mean, if some of us living in the Russia, Iceland, ETC.. Everything he need is open the window and win this competition...
