Teemto Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 It's again a matter of having the largest wallet (990X + GTX580), not necessarily being the best oc'er :-( The French competition sounds like much more fun. Quote
Crew Vivi Posted February 27, 2011 Crew Posted February 27, 2011 We'll there will always be debates on who got a nice cpu and who got a nice gpu, but one thing is for sure, elmor has won almost every competition, because he simply is the best haha. I think the competitions are fair enough. Quote
Splave Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 can I give up my spot and re-qualify and go to CES rofl! Quote
saint19 Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 I will find the way to enter on this MOA 2011 Quote
thebanik Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 can anyone confirm, if laurent is still looking after the asian market??? Quote
Bobnova Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Is there any info on what the qualifier on HWBot will be? EDIT: Wouldn't this be MOA2012? MOA2011 was a bit less then two months ago. Quote
rbuass Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Good lucky to the winners... Me and Fugger got #4 place at Vegas and i can t go... We lose about only 12 points in the 3DM11...witha a crap CPU (and good VGA).. That s a pity i can t go at this year...is the most wonderful overclocking competition that i know... Best regards and take care with Elmor and Me4me...they are really good Quote
Hondacity Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 with pre-modded gpus....everybody needs luck lol Quote

If you're referring to the event in Las Vegas: that was the first live final for the Americas. It's similar to the live final in Istanbul for EU. As far as I know, like any year, there should also be another Lords of Overclocking at FM. Not confirmed, though. Quote
Hondacity Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 As far as I know, like any year, there should also be another Lords of Overclocking at FM. Not confirmed, though. best idea for february!!! Quote
Bobnova Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Ahh ok, I thought the thing in Vegas in january was the World final. Quote
Massman Posted February 27, 2011 Author Posted February 27, 2011 Hehe. Can't be, the winner wasn't European . Quote
Bobnova Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Hehe. Can't be, the winner wasn't European . You realize this means war! Quote

EMEA, not just Europe Will be African teams, 2 I believe. Dont know how many from middle east. .... Scandinavia will have 2 teams... Last years winner; ME4ME + BananaBeer, and one more team. Quote
elmor Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Henry and I are seeded to the EU-final, not WW Quote
ME4ME Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Yea, just got that mail too. Great news... im really looking forward to this event, and Instanbul. Hoping for an equally great event like the last couple of times. Im sure it will. .. hehe let's try repeat last time's result Quote
Mean Machine Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 hehe let's try repeat last time's result I wouldn't mind another 1-2 in the EU finals, no. Can't say I approve of the one team for the nordics though, but I still figure that Denmark will do what it does best and that basically it'll be SF3D with great results in Finland. But it is a way to raise the standard, but you could've skipped Denmark right away, that would've been easier. Quote
Nanok Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 (edited) I have to talk with MSI, about a Greenland MOA 2012 That would make thing a bit easier. Nordic look though ! Edited February 28, 2011 by Nanok Quote
Christian Ney Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Want Switzerland MOA qualifications anyway, if my mind push me to buy msi AMD 870 board and Athlon II, I will fight for the France MOA Quote
Mean Machine Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 I have to talk with MSI, about a Greenland MOA 2012 That would make thing a bit easier ! I actually considered emigrating to Iceland just to be eligible for Gigabyte's competitions by default. Quote
