Overclockers from the moa that are still in Taipei. Tomorrow is the National day. If you don't know what to do yet here is the plan.

Morning : starting at 9am, National celebration in the city center (MRT NTU Hospital station) Military parade etc..

Noon : Cultural activities around the Taipei main station

Afternoon : Starting at 3pm, up the river. There will be some activities and probably some interesting touristic stuff to see.

Night : 9pm Fireworks

Clams I may or may not have been inappropriate with at the table and may or may not have offended a sweet young impressionable MSI employee with rofl. Set the motto of the trip, "Whelp, what can ya do ya know?"

Fyi, the current revision of hwbot allows us to keep historical records of competitions that were not hosted at hwbot. I'm currently trying out this feature on all the MOA 2011 events this year. Example:

http://hwbot.org/competition/moa_emea_2011/

http://hwbot.org/competition/fm_loc_2011/

http://hwbot.org/competition/moa_apac_2011/

Currently, points are not being awarded yet, but that'll come in this or the next revision. The plan is to add another tab to your profile where you can see in what competitions you have participated and how well you did :).

The difference between the first 5 teams for example is pretty small, how are these calculated?

Also, how are the points distributed to the members of the team? Split by 2?

Thanks

The ranking in the sidebar is actually the ranking of the competition (%) and not the UCP. The UCP distribution for level 3 competitions is 50, 40, 30, 20, 10.

Distribution across members is a point of debate still. We could split (as it's joined effort), but then a Competition like Country Cup would generate a very little amount of UCP for the winning team (50 divided over 38 members for CC'10). We could give everyone the same amount, but then we risk devaluating the UCP. TBD!

Okay, competition structure set in place :).

Pre-qualifier

Qualifier

Grand final

Still to-do:

- link users to competition teams

- improve roadmap

- recalculate UCP based on rankings

- add more pre-qualifier results
