Massman
What's worse is I remember the actual cartoon that came from. It would be worse if you thought that cartoon was only aired in black and white:D

ObscureParadox
Everybody has been in this situation before. Ignoring the situation is the worst possible thing to do! Crew Antinomy Posted December 9, 2013 Crew Share Posted December 9, 2013 Why dead? That was a common problem in the time of Socket A without ATX12V connector. It's just a bit dirty. Clean the plastic and move one

trodas
Christian Ney - Yes and No it's not dead, Yet! Oh, that is a sad look. A new PSU 24pin connector you can get from Mouser.com, just use search for this item number: 571-215860374 (PSU AXT 12V 8pin got this number: 571-1-794305-1 ) Good luck replacing it and fixing the cause. Mining should not be as power hungry, that it fry the connector... yet I read specs of these connectors and oddly enough, they say only 6A per pin, so... I quess we kinda overloading these in our computers
