That means we can fix really urgent problems (eg: downtime), but can only put all the feature requests and minor bug fixes on the backlog list. We made it with my MB, my ram, my CPU and give $ 50/50 for LN2 and for titan.... We bench together and I made all the Vmod. So team bench, but only one can submit...No problem, he put the screen with his account. but why did he earn the competition point alone ? 30pt.... Need to make 15-15 or 30-30, but not 30-0 don't you think ? I don't speak about hardware or global, but for competition point... 2° ES chip, allowed for Pro, but not for xtreme league. It's look ok to me, but every WR is take by ES chip.... there is no pleasure to bench if all the WR-global point are out of range. Look at 3dm01 top rank... all used crazy ES chip, and took all WR point and most of global point... Other point, if a no-pro use ES chip, and remove point to submit, it take the point... for exemple, I submit wr with ES. I'm not pro user, so I remove point to submit (0pt instead of 50pt for 1st place) . This topic has been discussed many times before, and in the end the biggest problem is the overhead it creates for the hwbot engine. It would require a significant change in our database model (add support for multiple result owners) + a re-write of all the code for calculating points. Long story short, coding-wise the benefit of having a more "fair" system does not outweight the complications that come with the development of the feature. For 2) Only the WR points should be affected in such way. At least, that's how it was designed in the beginning. When a #1 score is set to no points, the second in the rank should be getting the GL or HW points. Do you have an example where this is not the case? We can't do this manually as the competition points are a part of the HWBoints engine. There are an entire series of equations, checks and calculations when giving (any type of) points to a submission. Manually overriding could potentially break any of these calculations and if we don't keep track of what manual changes we make, it becomes impossible to debug if we have any issues. As for the competition points - in the original plans they were supposed to be limited in time to ~ 3 months I believe. We had quite some discussion about this internally and I honestly can't remember anymore how we implemented this two years ago.
