Crew Leeghoofd Posted March 6, 2013 Crew Posted March 6, 2013 What about TITAN for SC3 ? I thought it was not allowed and only to be used for SC4. People start to post scores with it in SC3... Plz add this asap to the stage rules to clarify... Quote
Massman Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Going to update tonight along with adding prizes from G.SKILL, ASRock and MSI! Quote

TASOS Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 http://hwbot.org/hardware/videocard/geforce_6800_agp/ At the same category , along with the 6800 GT's and ULTRA's ??? Quote
Crabby Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Lima core Athlon 64 3800+ CAALG stepping allowed? Quote
Massman Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 At the same category , along with the 6800 GT's and ULTRA's ??? GT and Ultra have their own category. The category Mr.Scott linked you to is just for the 6800 AGP (the normal one). Quote
Massman Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Lima core Athlon 64 3800+ CAALG stepping allowed? That CPU was released in 2007, so not applicable for the Cup. Quote
TASOS Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 GT and Ultra have their own category. The category Mr.Scott linked you to is just for the 6800 AGP (the normal one). For some strange reason , when i go to submit an 6800 related score , i dont see any other categories than these (look at the photo) That's why i wrote to Mr.Scott "At the same category , along with the 6800 GT's and ULTRA's ???" Uploaded with ImageShack.us Am i doing something wrong , or is it somekind of problem others might have also ? P.S. By the way a deticated moderator should check the hole 6800 category cause i see soft-modded and bios modded cards @ 16 pixel / 6 Vertex ... all over the place. Quote
TASOS Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 When i type "6800 GT" , it shows me the options of GT's and GTO. But ... Shouldnt it be more correct , when typing "6800" to show you all the related entries ??? It seems like having a 10 entry limiter Quote
Massman Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Yes, there is a limiter because otherwise it would be a too long list Quote
knopflerbruce Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 That CPU was released in 2007, so not applicable for the Cup. You might want to add this chip to the "not allowed list": http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K8/AMD-Athlon%20X2%20BE-2350%20-%20ADH2350IAA5DD%20%28ADH2350DDBOX%29.html as well as all those singlecore Lima models Quote
Christian Ney Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 Brace yourselves, Team Cup me voila! That's one out of four. In total it was: 21 + 22.2 + 29 + 35 kg of Hardware I did bring from my old living place to my new one by train. Quote
Crew Leeghoofd Posted March 18, 2013 Crew Posted March 18, 2013 (edited) Better give the shipping details for the prizes to PJ then Christian It makes no sense to fight the hardware master Edited March 18, 2013 by Christian Ney Quote
MrBreeze Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 HWBOT staff, can we get a rules clarification and update for the Northwood processors? Right now, the competition stages list Northwood P4 2.8 and 3.0 chips as legal. But they don't specify that these need to be the Northwood 'A' 100 MHz FSB chips, as opposed to the Northwood 'C' chips with 200 MHz FSB and HT. The 'C' chips were released in 2003 and should be specifically disallowed. I mention this because numerous submissions have been made with 'C' chips and if those are disallowed (which they should be by the rules), the competitors need time to generate new submissions. If this is already being addressed then I apologize for the redundancy. Quote
