GENiEBEN Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 (edited) But can't be used for submissions. 4.2.0.8 is the only one you can use for submissions. I was going to update the 2d installer this weekend, so 4.2.0.8 is still latest to use? Currently there is no dependency installed, any specific one needed? Asking just because I have yet to have any issues installing and getting a score on supported platforms. Edited December 19, 2013 by GENiEBEN Quote
dhenzjhen Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 4.2.0.8 has issues with 2697V2 ES, I open the proggy but hangs Quote
Andy Waller Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 (edited) I'm pretty new to this software. I did a successful benchmark. When I tried to upload, so that I could analyze etc, system simply said go to your open browser see your uploaded results. Went to browser, nothing there. On the video for XTU, as soon as the guy hits upload it immediately opens the browser and allows him to analyze. This is not happening with mine. I have latest version of XTU. Can anyone work out what is going wrong? I also noticed that, after the benchmark test, the only thing open for me to change were processor settings and all of those are greyed out. In other words, I can't change anything. I have a Core i5 and a P8P67 Asus MOBO with two GTX 460 in SLi. These don't seem particularly obscure yet the software is allowing me to change nothing.... Anyway, I enclose a screenshot. Hope it helps. It now says "Analyze functionality is not supported for your system" (after I updated the BIOS). Again, I don't think my system is that obscure. Any ideas? Edited December 22, 2013 by Andy Waller Quote

Any ideas? The pic you posted is just system info , that is normal look . You should have menu options on left top . Manual tuning, Stress tests, Benchmarking and profiles , Since Asus pushes Asus suite II/III in manual tunning you may have limited options to adjust . On my P8Z77v pro only have blck speed, multipliers for core and additional voltage for turbo cores . As for problems after bios flash , try uninstalling XTU and reinstalling back, maybe that may help . Edited December 22, 2013 by edkiefer Quote
Massman Posted December 23, 2013 Author Posted December 23, 2013 Sadly, the Analyze functionality is only available for post-Sandy Bridge architectures. So, Ivy Bridge, Ivy Bridge-E, and Haswell. The reason is technical and relates to the available hooks in the CPU registry for XTU to control. There are important items missing for Sandy Bridge that were made available on newer platforms. siouxx Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Hello, I'm trying to run XTU but I get this window: I tried: -SO: clean install win 7 ultimate 64bit, win 7 ultimate 32bit, win 7 ultimate sp1 64bit, -XTU ver. 4.2.0.8 downloaded from intel website -with and without drivers -with and without management engine -with and without internet connection Quote
Crew Sweet Posted December 27, 2013 Crew Posted December 27, 2013 (edited) maybe your mainboard ? or your bios ? Is your XTU versión the last one ? Edited December 27, 2013 by Sweet Quote
xsuperbgx Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Single core cpu? If so, I had the same issue. I never received any response about a possible fix. I could even switch cpu and get the bench to run ok without changing anything (o/s drivers etc.) I tried different o/s's drivers etc. G465 and MVG Quote
siouxx Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 My setup: z77x-ud5h bios f15q, f14 i3 3240 2x2gb supertalent performance 2000mhz cas 8 tried differents HD always same issue. Quote
The Mutt Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 I have the same problem with a celeron G550 and a i3 2340m laptop. Quote
Crew Strunkenbold Posted January 22, 2014 Crew Posted January 22, 2014 I have the same problem with a celeron G550 and a i3 2340m laptop. Seems like they released a fix for that today: Changes2. Fixed an issue preventing XTU from launching on CPUs without Intel® Turbo Boost Technology. I really hope that this is the solution... Quote
Massman Posted January 23, 2014 Author Posted January 23, 2014 Yup, V4.3 launched. It has a bunch of cool new things. Will write a news item later Quote
GENiEBEN Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Yup, V4.3 launched. It has a bunch of cool new things. Will write a news item later Lol, just after I made Portable v1.3, damn it. WIll include it in next version. Quote
delly Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 (edited) Yup, V4.3 launched. It has a bunch of cool new things. Will write a news item later great, I wonder if they fixed the problems with some CPU edit -> yeah, now works with the Celeron 877 (no more error on startup)... Edited January 23, 2014 by delly Quote
edkiefer Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 (edited) I am running 4.2.0.8 and tried auto-update , it DL ok but got error can't install cause it failed authenticity . My question , I DL the 4.3 is it ok to install over (haven't tried and probably won't let me) but have not figured where profiles are saved to . I rather not have to setup all of them over again . Edit: readme states that old versions can't use auto-update with 4.3 , you have to manually install it . Edited January 23, 2014 by edkiefer Quote
edkiefer Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Installed 4.3.11 fine, I exported all my profiles but seems I didn't need to do that ,all my profiles were saved fine . I like the uninstaller/installer , seems well thought out , I had already set profile back to defaults but you get popup asking you to do that (very good idea for newbee's ). I didn't try app link OC feature but profiles and OC seem fine . Have to give BM a try , I used to get random errors there sometimes . Quote
robbo2 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Was there any fix for the "The benchmarking process has failed and no score was generated as result." other then install windows updates? I've received this error on every version except the first. Quote
Massman Posted March 3, 2014 Author Posted March 3, 2014 The latest version should be "more" compatible, I think, since the license versions are updated too. Do you still experience this problem with the 4.3.0.8 ? Quote
robbo2 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Yeah it's still happening with 4.3.0.8. I thought the new version would have fixed it so it's why I ask. Quote
Massman Posted March 3, 2014 Author Posted March 3, 2014 I assume you're testing this on a system you previously had other versions installed on? Or is this a fresh install? Quote
robbo2 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 It's the same setup (system and OS) I've used since the initial XTU came out, and the first one worked fine. Every version since then has given me this error. Quote
Massman Posted March 3, 2014 Author Posted March 3, 2014 Hm, maybe there's some leftovers in the registry that is causing this. Could you perhaps test the same system on a fresh install? Quote
robbo2 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 It basically is a fresh install. I just installed a bare copy of 7 then made an image of it that I can work from for anything. I just load the image, install XTU and get the error. But I'll try and get to doing that sometime this week. Quote
