gazza30 Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 so how does one submit a hwbot prime result simply times out each time can't connect to server? Quote
Crew Leeghoofd Posted November 8, 2013 Crew Posted November 8, 2013 Question: HD8670D (A10-6700) + 6670HD forms which Hybrid GPU combination ? Quote
IanCutress Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Question: HD8670D (A10-6700) + 6670HD forms which Hybrid GPU combination ? Not a valid one for the contest. It'll just show HD8670D + 6670 in GPU-Z. You need one with a whole new designation: anything in this link that has a new name is valid - http://www.cpu-world.com/info/AMD/Recommended_graphics_cards_for_AMD_dual-graphics.html Quote
Crew Leeghoofd Posted November 9, 2013 Crew Posted November 9, 2013 So in fact only Llano series then ? so the german and hungarian scores are not valid then ? Better clarify this now to all contestants... Quote
IanCutress Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Correct, according to what MM has said in this thread, those would not be valid. Quote

Crew Leeghoofd Posted November 9, 2013 Crew Posted November 9, 2013 Basically anyone who could read a table should have got that from the CPU-World page. So Ian basicly you are saying me and Roman can't read Quote
IanCutress Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 I admit that the whole debacle has made it confusing. What AMD call Hybrid graphics is different to how it's classified here at HWBot. I think AMD steered away from the hybrid naming scheme in Llano because you can have two different GPU combinations ended up with the same name, and end users might get confused. But the end of the day: Best desktop hybrid combination for the contest is HD6550D + HD6670 = HD6690D2. If MM wants to declare that any 'Dual Graphics' AMD solution (which will be in the GPU-Z name, and should probably get its own HWBot category) is fine then I'm ok with that, but as it is written, the list above I provided is what's required. On a side note. Next year: Lucid graphics? Must use 1 AMD and 1 NVIDIA GPU? How about 'PCIe at x1' Quote
Lucky_n00b Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 On a side note. Next year: Lucid graphics? Must use 1 AMD and 1 NVIDIA GPU? How about 'PCIe at x1' Ian, please don't give Massman more weird and crazy idea :D * Dang, The FX Aquamark stage already giving me headaches now x_x * Quote

The Mutt Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 I used the one from the link you provided and get the same error. Why post the current/must use version here and not update on the main download page at hwbot? On the download page its still 2.26... Quote
I.nfraR.ed Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Redownloaded and it still says 2.50.105. I've used the link you provided both times. Quote
