General overclocking

I been for a while posting scores from Iraq at xtreme forums and 3dguru but I want to be able to post my scores against other serious users and get my scores verified so people stop telling me that I cheat I can't even put sig and the submit score page I put my info and pics and stay sending forever and then get a error mesage http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dmv=1868436

Io I hope to find some people who did run this board.. I'm trying to get this 2.4 to 3 or more and its not really working along. Soon as i put the fsb to 166 windows 7 won't boot , says this;windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this file 0xc0000428 When put to stock its booting. I'm using 166fsb and pci locked at 33.. I hope to find some help here.. ty!!

So, I'm fairly new to this tweaking side of overclocking and I was wondering... How much can one achieve in terms of stability and performance by disabling processes of Windows XP? And what are the bare minimum processes for the system to run all benches (3Dmarks, wprime & superpi)? And then the question about TEC (peltier). I have 80W TEC, which uses 8-16V input voltage. So I thought I'd give it a go in my rig just to see how much further I could push my E5200 with aircooling... Any reason why I shouldn't try this to my rig? I received this board a week ago, but only had the time today to first start testing it. First task of the day was to see how the IGP of my 661 scales in 3D. Since this particular bios (F4 - latest) doesn't offer any IGP clock frequency changes just yet, the only way to increase the GPU frequency was by increasing the BCLK. Now, that was not so easy on air cooling with the GMA HD enabled: I only got it up to 160MHz stable through 3D. OK. 1.33V @ 3.5 is substacial for Q9400, but want more than just 4.0GHz. E7300 clocked successfully at 4.15GHz (max threshold) @ 1.49V on P43 chipset. Now running Q9400 on X48 ICH9R chipset want to clock to 5.0GHz on air (untested). Possible? Major Failure imminent? Hello. I tried ocing my e7300 today to 3.5GHz and ran into a problem when I finished running 3dmark vantage because I saw the score was actually 100 points less than on stnadard clocks. Can anyone help me with this. I just bought a new MB.

I can't overclock my memory at all with this thing. Everytime i do i get these weird flickering on my screen. I can OC just the core all the way up to 1000mhz and it's no problem, everything runs fine, but as soon as i up just 1mhz on my memory, I get the weird flickering. Here is the best part, the flickering happens everywhere EXCEPT when i am actually in a game. For example, every moment before i actually start playing crysis my screen would flicker (ie crysis menu screen, loading screen would flicker) as soon as i am in the game everything runs fine. I'm running 1.55 and its telling me that the program is not identifying itself. It kinda sucked, I claimed 6th for my processor and then got a BSOD while reading it failed.

In an effort to solve the problem of unbeatable scores achieved with older wPrime versions, I've completely re-done the calculation and threading section of wPrime in an effort to bring the score on par with or slightly faster than v1.53. Hey there, in the past 2 years i've been at hwbot i often saw wPrime results with validation only and no screenshot. There are a lot of results where i just think "WTF". I've seen results at stock clock and no memory/latency is shown. So there's only a result. I used wPrime several times and sometimes wPrime doesn't detect the correct CPU. So what if thats not even the right CPU? We can't know if there's just a checksum: XYZ12345 (valid) whether it was the right CPU and not a bug. Is there a way to check the Validation? Are they safe?
