They are not totally different. Based on that logic, there should be new categories for Matrix/Lightning/HOF/non-ref cards etc.

This applies to more than just these cards... but this has made no sense for a long time. 7800GT: not split by memory amount 7800GTX and GTX512MB: split 7900GS: split by memory amount 7900GT: split by memory amount (coincidentally, 7900GT 512MB can show up as a 7900GTO....) 7950GT: Not split by memory amount. I don't mind/care which way things go....but please can there be consistency here? Thankyou

When a trimmer is connected, even when at maximum resistance, there will be voltage gain. The amount depends on how much the resistance of the circuit has been changed (or, to phrase another way, what value of trimmer is used.) If you want to have the option of 0 voltage increase, a switch should be added in series. (Can't give specifics for the card, I don't have one)

UK Bench Meet #2 | 28-30th April 2017

Wow Wasn't expecting to read that. I hope it was quick, painless & peaceful. My thoughts & sympathies to their family & friends. -

Try Cryoservice A rep will come out for an "informal" meet to discuss your intended use & experience, check your storage area and work area and generally make sure that you aren't an idiot. Assuming that's all good, when you phone up to place an order, the standard reply is "it'll be with you by this time next week" and it could turn up at any point between 8am and 7pm, though the driver will phone when you're next on the delivery list. BUT....... it's been 3 years since I used LN2, so Cryoservice might have tweaked things a bit. Price: decided on a 1:1 basis. So make the visitor a decent mug of coffee and have some biscuits

I wonder how many of those scores will be beaten between now and Ryzen release That's a more interesting angle to pass the time No PR victory in "our latest CPUs have just beaten a 6-year old score! Go us!"

That looks like fun :D -
99% off-topic, but seeing as the media these days is dedicated to trying to control or influence the public, a little counter-balance isn't too much to ask.

A very "neat" gray area If the NDA is attached to the mobo, then CPU details can be released, depending on wording of NDA. The last NDA I signed was well worded. I wasn't allowed to discuss anything until expiry. I think I could have put a 7800GT in the machine and I couldn't have talked about it

If Intel care... they'll stop sending hardware to these people/sites. Coolaler has been leaking for ten years. It's clearly not a problem for Intel. They've had a decade to do something about it. No point trying to close the stable door now, easier to catch the horse by buying frozen lasagne. Yes, people are breaking a legal document, but what is a law with no consequence for breach? A guideline. Ethics and morals are the first victims of chasing money.

That is very sad I don't blame you for not wanting to arrange another event, not after that.
