March 16, 20169 yr Out of curiosity I played a bit with my Mini-ITX gaming rig at home, setup is: MSI Z170I GAMING PRO 2x4GB G.SKILL TRIDENT Z 3866 (Samsung E-DIE) @4133 12-19-19-28-300-1T i7-6700K ES Cooler Master Seidon 120XL AIO Watercooler Non-ACPI BIOS, LSC1, Wazza, Maxmem 600, fresh untrimmed & untweaked FR XP SP3. March 16, 20169 yr Memory won't run at voltage higher than 1,65v. Be sure to set the DRAM Training Volts manually. They default to 1.50V on a lot of BIOSes.
March 16, 20169 yr Memory can boot at 3866 12-12-12-28 2t and load windows Xp at 1,85v, but can't run any kind of test. At same settings it won't let me login in Win10. It doesn't matter voltage i set. I'll try with tested b-die, to be sure that problem is memory , not mainboard.
March 16, 20169 yr Can you make it into W10 with lower memory? Have you tried single stick? I think you're right... might be a stock that can't handle the OC.
March 16, 20169 yr Tried 3200Mhz 12-12-12, and load win10 but if voltage is above 1,6v it crashed. With lower voltage it works almost stable. It is the same with 13-13-13 .
