Anyone binned many Vietnam chips yet? Much the same as malay?

I had one. It had a good NB (5.2GHz was easy) but the memory controller was not that good and the cpu was not more then ok.

All on air.

I have a new 6700k now.

SR2BR L546B627

5GHz windows boot (stock NB setting) at 1.36v (bios) and 1.344v (idle, cpuz).

It needed 1.44v for CB11.5 in Windows 8 (Windows 7 needs a little less).

It actually gave 1.344v in CPUz in Windows, verification gave a little more.

According to this

https://qdms.intel.com/dm/i.aspx/5A160770-FC47-47A0-BF8A-062540456F0A/PCN114074-00.pdf

We should have seen the new steppings , some time ago.

Anybody actually seen SR2L0 & SR2L4 ???

Sidenote

For normal people , not caring about o/c levels , the new stepping is more about Intel SGX

Anyone else with the new stepping ???

Yup.

SR2L0 L548B385. S/N: M5849XYZ70XX74

Good TIM at least on my sample. On H110GT with about 24C water temps, max temp at 4.8 @ 1.5V was 70C in CB R15.

However core is pretty weak on mine.

4.5 CB R15/XTU is about 1.25-1.285V.

4.6 CB R15/XTU/X265 is about 1.35-1.42V

4.7 CB R15 is about 1.415V. AVX2 or XTU is probably close to 1.48V

4.8 Hailmary is done on CB R15 1.48V 1.52V load.
