Crew Leeghoofd Posted February 10, 2019 Crew Posted February 10, 2019 (edited) - No limitations on processor speed. - Both Retail and ES hardware are allowed, however no server hardware, ASrock and no LGA 3467 setups - Single processor sockets only!! - PRO OC round 1 will focus on 2D only, The next round same CPU specs but with GPU limitation and 3D only. Round 3 will be a mix of 2D & 3D Current stages: Cinebench Extreme Superpi 32M Geekbench 4 multicore Memory maximum frequency Start date 15/02/2019 at 12:00 CET -- Closing date 15/04/2019 12:00 Verification screenshot includes: Full res desktop screenie, no clipping allowed!!! The Taskbar remains fully visible, including the iwndows time For maximum memory frequency, memory: only CPU-Z memory tab required on the competition background. Splave Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 Memory maximum frequency Is there a percentage we can work with from valid to screenshot ( I forget what is normally used ) Quote
Crew Leeghoofd Posted February 14, 2019 Author Crew Posted February 14, 2019 (edited) yes sir ASRock, 2% btn screenie and validation file (the latter counts ofc) was the standard, but with current memory speeds 1% might be more relastic. Wha t do you guys think Edited February 14, 2019 by Leeghoofd 2 Quote
Splave Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 1% is fine I think if we only need 1 cpuz window Quote
Splave Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 is the APEX XI and GENE XI allowed as its not widely available in north america? thx Quote

Splave Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 Any ideas for extreme r15. There is no way to avoid covering the render. This is at 1920x1080 1 Quote
Noxinite Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 (edited) With AMD/Nvidia new cards you can upscale the resolution of your monitor. Nvidia DSR and I don't remember for AMD. Edited February 16, 2019 by Noxinite 1 Quote
Mr.Scott Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 (edited) VSR on AMD. 260X and newer. Other than that, you need a 4K monitor. Edited February 16, 2019 by Mr.Scott 1 1 Quote

This is at 1920x1080 we have to double the screenies than, one full screen with the score and rendered scene, add a 2nd with required CPUz and the CB screen bit moved to the right.. Crew Leeghoofd Posted February 16, 2019 Author Crew Posted February 16, 2019 yes 2 screenies required for one sub IF you can't display the background, CPU-Z and rendered scene in the same screenie ofc 1 Quote
macsbeach98 Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 Wasnt the idea of having to show the full render to stop cheats modifying it to get a boost in the score. How the hell can that be legal the right side and bottom half of the render is off the screen in both shots bring on the cheats. 1 Quote
Crew Leeghoofd Posted February 16, 2019 Author Crew Posted February 16, 2019 Hence why it is a beta, we just want to see how it performs, so sad that immediately we think of cheating... Quote
macsbeach98 Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 Alby I dont admire your job of moderating scores and making sure everything is above board I was just pointing out the obvious. I myself wont be submitting it until I have a monitor for it. Quote

Two screens as you laid out seems like a perfectly acceptable workaround to test this bench for the compo 1 Quote

phil Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 Tested as suggested with DSR on a GT 710 (fish),looks the way to go. 2 2 Quote
