if you see a review use over 1.3v for full threading benching and stress testing on an AIO without delidding then the cpu is throttling for sure. delidded conductonaut on both die and on top of ihs with 360x360mm rad 9 fans will hit mid to high 80s with the same voltage. Stress testing is tricky on x299 since there is clipping and throttling. You can easily see it by running XTU or R15. You can get 3600 Points at 4.9 and then 5ghz will pass with a score of 1800 without showing any cpu freq drop. Same with R15 4.9 2800ish then 5ghz 1300.

while I understand the sentiment of how do you compete with an unreleased processor and ES army....the answer is dont be in elite league if you feel bad about this. also companies bin hundreds on hundreds of cpus every generation this is not something new maybe people are just more open about it now. Computex is a trade show, marketing is the reason it exists. We are lucky to even be deemed relevant to them at all, someday I figure we will no longer be invited. LN2 smoke and the term world record is something anyone is excited by and understands. They might not know what a 4200 point XTU score is but they understand what and XTU world record is.

Maybe just felt like if dancop XA etc maybe even me subd a score like that it wouldn't be a problem and certainly something would be mentioned before it was removed/blocked in that case. Maybe I'm wrong

Maybe a better approach is to leave the score then ask the person about it, then if they dont "prove it" then you remove it.
