  1. Can you share spd of that bbse?
  2. @cnzdrn does .5 multi make any difference?
  3. https://hwbot.org/submission/4264433_terraraptor_pifast_phenom_ii_x2_550_be_26sec_380ms - I was also able to run it 6-5-5 but no boost in pifast
  4. I was checking 1:2 only and I think channels drop at higher dram frequencies. I was limited by 350mhz bclk last time I tried to figure it out with hypers and Vdimm from 1.75v to 2.2v didn't help me at all (I also had a different session with d9 before). It was completely board related for me - different ram sticks, different cpus, different clockgen settings and still not even 5MHz difference for me. The only thing to try is cold NB but it is really unsafe to mount SS on that tiny chip. I decided to try my luck with DFI 790FXB and fatbodies. I was also playing with different SPD into same ram sticks and it makes certain difference. Probably we should try replacing AGESA/PEI/etc in bios and see what it does. The problem I see here is Asus using UEFI and Giga using older BIOS. Probably I will try replacing some modules in my C5F with modules from C5FZ one day. Binning boards is a no go for me.
  5. I went as high as 2.5v with cold d9gts and c5f - no effect on bclk
  6. This is another story a single person makes life harder for the whole community
  7. Quite good, single channel mode sometimes helps indeed at cost of some performance.
  8. No success with those guys:( I have QX9650/QX9770 for trade in.
  9. Not only clocks but effeciency is more than acceptable. I wonder if this is the "damn strong cpu" you were looking for:)
  10. But is there any significant difference on the same board (say C5FZ) between early and latest bios versions?
  11. Very nice. I'm still noob with am2+, are these cpus capable of CL3 @>400MHz?
  12. Man, here are your points with aircooled 3970x in wprime 1024m (https://hwbot.org/submission/4309630_adventurepo_wprime___1024m_ryzen_threadripper_3970x_19sec_496ms): Globals 2.5pts, GTPP 16.7 pts. Here are my points with single stage cooled Celeron 1.8 Northwood in GB3 MC (https://hwbot.org/submission/3931910_terraraptor_geekbench3___multi_core_celeron_1.8ghz_(northwood)_1107_points): Globals 1.0 pts, HTPP: 5.3 pts. So, I beleive that is how hwbot is killing my motivation to bench subzero - a person with air cooling gets more points than me with SS. Many people told you - review your approach. Points are everywhere but require proper hardware. Sometimes it is the question of hardware selection rather than cooling. Lots of enthusiasts have 4-5 times global points compared to me (owning 2 single stage units, several ln2 pots, vga and memory pot, two dewars). If points is what matters, you better invest 2000$ (3000$?) into X79+overclockable Xeon + 3-4 cards for 3-4 way CRossfire/SLI rather than 3970x - easy 300-400 globals. Again, you have 5 times global points I have while I'm #82 career in XOC league. Still not happy with points distribution?)
  13. your result is quite in line with others (mine included) so noone blames this is cheat or undoable - I even liked it :) I really like your clocks here. The bench itself sucks. While superpi gives 0.5% spread from from to run this buggy bench gives me +/-xx% difference with intel and +/-xxx% difference with AMD between runs. PS. I decided to skip benching maxmemm2 after review of the following results: 13263 - https://hwbot.org/submission/1020832_ageom_maxxmem_ddr2_sdram_916.6_marks/ 13447 - https://hwbot.org/submission/1022472_armannaddafi_maxxmem_ddr2_sdram_936.2_marks/ 13092 - https://hwbot.org/submission/939077_endea_maxxmem_ddr2_sdram_788.6_marks/
  14. +100500. I was testing it with Am2 this weekend and get anything from 2500MB/s to 12000MB/s with same settings. No chance to get consistent results at all.
