Testing some panram single sided Mfr memory's,only had couple lrts of ln2 so wasn't able to put a 32M run together at this time.More to come

 

-145 2.2v some interesting timings,will test single dim max freq and rerun more 32m when have some more ln2

Very nice bullant. This shows hynix can actually be quite competetive in 32m. I want to see you beat samsung results with these timings.

That isn't going to happpen since they are single-sided.

That's a good point though alex. Where are the older dual sided bfr ?

My 2500c9 patriot vipers seem to max out nicely on air just below 2800 with 1.96v. At exactly 2800 they lose stability.

Yep, looking forward to seeing how they do. I just wish I had a better cpu that could do 5ghz uncore on water at reasonable voltage.

Couple of quick -60c stability memory test Ive just done for anyone interested,is a really great way for those getting into cold memory.The KP Ney pro is a great memory pot suited for this as you can leave the HS on while you practice your craft @ these manageable temps,both of these runs only required about 700mls of LN2.Depending on bin quality of your memory and imc also help in how much you can push your memorys

 

I am not responsible for anyone trying this and damaging their hardware, is @ your own risk and going cold can sometimes damage hardware if not fully prepped motherboard

 

Just to note depending on your memory they will hit a dram volts wall @ -60c,going over this wall will cause 32m to fail quite quickly as is the case when running full pot -170+ temps.Basically find your wall of dram volts @ at your current temps.

 

Will push the memory a little more later and post few more results

I can t go lower than 4 in bios . I tried with 1.30 and 1.12 .

I see u have L0.12c but i can t fin it .

TWTR 3 at timing configurator is shown is you set TWRRD at 15, you can´t set it lower than 4 in Bios

Yeah man what web said and if you lower TWRRD 14 will =TWTR 2 and TWRRD 13 will =TWTR 1

Tested G.Skill Pi 2400C8 on the Asrock, they do 2666C8 with 1.85v (lowest of any PSC I've tested). Would NOT do 2666 on Asus Z87 with the same CPU. Dunno what magic sauce Nick Shih and the engineers sprinked on the OCF but it works.

Yes the OCF does work very well,with the ASus board you may need to look at what the rtls iols are doing,training them and locking them in

Z87 Asus boards except for Impact 6 are crap - and Asrock generally needs less voltage on psc than Asus boards even on Z97, I tested on impact7 against z87 and z97 ocfm and ocf and difference on some kits was up to 0,03v at my tests. It is no surprise your Mems fail 2667 on Gene6 for example

Yeah I didn't read his comment correct,didn't realize he said Z87 Asus,I thought he has Z97 Asus,Z97 Asus impact and z97 gene should still do ok on PSC clocks give or take some volts

Is the Z97 Maximus VII Formula not as capable as the Gene? I know the Impact beats both due to shorter memory traces.

Gene works as goodas Impact if you get good sample, about the capabilities of the Formula I have no further information
