I've seen that issue on numerous chips.. refreshing would lower voltage..pentium haswell.. I would raise I think. I'm pretty much mostly x99 these days

dont have any DC chips, so Im assuming higher is better in this case.

With steponzy here, I've only had a play with them a few times cold and every single time I had to pump them with volts on the VCCIN, not sure if they have a worse FVIR or what but seems likely considering their price. Also sorry I couldn't add anything of any value to the conversation.

yeh, off the top of my head i was using like 2.7vccin

I forget but I think it was michal90 or one of his friends knew how to fix it and were going to tell once a contest finished

Anyone have any tips for Pentium on cold that has random restarts?

I've benched mine at 5.9-6.0 on ln2, and often I complete something like HWBot Prime, gives a score, and immediate shutdown just like cold bug, but the temperature might be 10 degrees off measured CB.

Off the top of my head, I was using like 2.7vccin and 1.85vcore.

I've found a bit more stability using slow mode switch straight after hwbot prime, but still get reboots when I'm trying to save screenshot.

1/ what is the difference between L and X batch#?

2/ I can buy one of the following models:

What # should I choose?

The X-Batches.

 

L = Malaysia

X = Vietnam

Whitch one is better?

Should I draw with my eyes closed?

I have only one chanse to pick it up correctly

I just got brand new retail G3258 from 3404C573, anyone had one of those from early 2014? I thought they started from 18th week

Back with 3404C573 - 4700 with 1.33 @air, a potato, but not so hot, will check it on SS anyway.

So much potatoes in poland - XP or what did you use for 4,7ghz stability test?

Pi32M and Cinebench 15, both XP and 7. I haven't tried XTU above 4500 yet.

What's this all about then? I gotta 4790k and GA-Z87X-OC Force too!
