Doug2507 Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Yeah, Pepi, gave MSI uk a shout and a new ones in the post. Thanks Bruno, just dawned on me last night and put it to good use. Is the OC board a little quicker changing the clocks? Quote
Bruno Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 i haven't used the HOTKEY but i wouldn't think so. Quote
Doug2507 Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Hotkey is slow, well, from memory using ROC panel on z87/x79. Still good enough though. Quote

rtsurfer Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Quick question, how much is the difference between BIOS DRAM voltage & DRAM Voltage measured from a proper quality DMM, on this board. Quote
rtsurfer Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 At 1.9v BIOS I'm 1.906v on MM. Thanks, so BIOS & real voltage is pretty much the same. Quote
Doug2507 Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Near enough but only way to confirm is with MM. Quote
Random Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 (edited) Anyone else have crucial ballistix 2400 16-16-16-39 1.2v sticks they can test? I just tried setting this board up with them and i had some terrible posting issues and the bios was not loading correctly.  Just want to make sure its the sticks and nothing else. Swapped mfr in and its fine but that issue was after i had it turned off or in hibernate mode for a day  These sticks http://imgur.com/ENUjaHa Edited October 20, 2015 by Random Quote
xxbassplayerxx Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Those Crucial sticks are Micron and are likely junk (in case you were wondering). Quote
Random Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 i know they are junk but I had a clearance issue with a cooler and I don't plan On ocing this board for a while Quote
Doug2507 Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 It would be a shame not to put that chip on cold asap. Should be cb 6.1 minimum! Quote
Random Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 (edited) Since I suck I am not going to freeze the cpu with ln2. Probably just gonna sell it and loose money on it. Edited October 24, 2015 by Random Quote

MSI Gaming M5, latest bios. Â 1) HyperX Predator 4x4, 3000 XMP Profile1, boot only with 2T, whatever VccSA, I/O and ram voltage applied. 2) G.Skill Ripjaws V, 2x4, 3600, boots only with 2T. Quote
TaPaKaH Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Try an older BIOS version. I guess they changed something in September/October, 1T doesn't work for me either with all the new Gaming M7 BIOS versions. Quote
Guest TheMadDutchDude Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Did 1T work previously, Sam? I may give it a try on the TE I have here. Quote
