The reason I got into proper competitive OC in the first place was OCWC 2020, which got cancelled during the first international wave of COVID.

After three years, finally I can prepare for this competition again. I'm so excited!

4 Cores means really 4 cores? No E-Cores or hyperthreading. Limited to 5.5 GHz?

In case of same score, the earliest submission wins. In case of a tie the deciding benchmark will be Stage 1.

Does the date have to be March 1st or can you do it now and submit on the first?

if you want to do 2P +2E be my guest as long as you have maximum 4 cores running.

Correct no hyperthreading advantage ( to open the compo for more CPUS) and maximum frequency detected is at 5503Mhz. If e.g. 5503.1Mhz is detected the score is out...

Competition only opens on the 1st of March... and indeed the official wallpaper is not yet up

@Leeghoofd Could you please clarify this rule?

  • Motherboard Bios must be available to all participants (via HWBOT Forum) at the start of the stage

E.g. I have MSI PRO Z690-A WIFI mobo. Should we post BIOS links here before submitting scores? Or if it is publicly available from the manufacturer website, this rule does not apply?

Latest BIOS - 7D25vAA: https://download.msi.com/bos_exe/mb/7D25vAA.zip

Same file, copy on OneDrive.

manufacturer websites can change, hence we almost "have" to do it via this forum thread. but this then also implies, whatever bios is not posted here before stage start, is no go

e.g. currently no Asrock or Gigabyte Board is legal to be used.

@Leeghoofd please confirm

@Leeghoofd please confirm

would also make it very impractical for anyone who wants to participate despite not having an XOC board - would have to hope that someone posted the bios already.

anyways, dumped all bioses from manufacturer site for boards I might use:

z690 strix D4

z690 unify-x
