March 28, 201411 yr So I found a similar thread for a GTX780Ti DC2 (will search link if someones interested), where an ASP1212 was modded. I compared the datasheets and those 2 controllers (CHL8318 and ASP1212) are absolutely identical. I mean, they even just copy-pasted the text in the datasheet. In that thread, K404 just soldered to pin 4 (VCPU) and it worked, so I did the same, and it worked, too  Just running 1,28V without further adjustments (used 50 Ohm potentiometer for vGPU), resistance went down from 8,7 Ohm to 7,5 Ohm. GPU Temperature 53°C @ air, VRM 45°C @ air. Would take photos but have no cam here.

March 29, 201411 yr Probably uP controler, find pins with resistive divisor (to gnd and v out) with values from 500 ohm to 2-3k, most likely ~ 1k and mod the pins to 20x to gnd. Â What card is that?

It's not like me to struggle so long with finding a vmod point There are a few pins with tiny resistance, which i've found on some other Kepler cards (example.... some Asus PCBs need 3.5 ohm (NOT Kilo-ohm) soldered to GND for vCore....) also a few pins around 1K and a few around 20K. You think I should focus on the pins/points around 1K?
April 3, 201411 yr Hey guys, have here two cards I'd like to mod, after some assistance with them, I've never done the checking of a card for resistance and that, and my electrical knowledge is nearly none. Â first card, a Gigabyte GT610 card GV-N610SL-1GI https://imgur.com/a/ux1Fv it has two IC's, one on the front with 8 pins is labelled uP1504T PGP38K and on the back with the green dot is labelled 25Q10T CDC502 CH1314 Â second card, an Asus GT520 (same core as GT610) card ENGT520_SILENTDI1GD3LP has two APW7165A VN18G ics at the IO end of card and above the core MX 25LS12 (something here ending in 12G that i cannot read) back side has an IC labelled RT9018B 18PSPDA40X Â if anyone could offer any assistance or even guide me on how to find out for myself, that'd be awesome.
April 3, 201411 yr Hey zero, Â You're still going to need to do some measuring to be able to successfully mod these cards. I added some pics with the prospected pins of the core voltage controllers. I'm not 100% sure I got the right Ic on the GT 520, but it seems the most logical one. All you need to do is measure the highlighted pins. These are just for the core voltage. Let us know when you have the values. Â

April 4, 201411 yr If the pins were the correct ones(I would ask for a second opinion as there was no datasheet on the uP1504T), all you need to do now is take a variable resistor of 20x those values, so 20k pot for gigabyte card (there is nothing in between 10k and 20k) and 250k for the asus card. Depending on which pots you use, if it's a long one like one from helitrim, be sure to bent one pin that you are not going to use and make sure that you have max resistance over the other 2 pins before you solder it onto the card. April 14, 201411 yr well then I will add any info or ask for some help in a day or two Thanks Well hard modding is not needded yet so far for me just a bios flash with gain +50 or more on clocks. June 7, 201410 yr the really problem on L6713A pwm is the OVP:)   first configure the FB mod and see were is the ocp trigger value , then configure the ocp from my pic ( you can tryed from 5k to 3,5k , for me 4k offer 1.5 - 1,55v enought i think).  ocp mod offer you 20-30mv before ovp shut down the card ,and then need ovp mod . the best way is vid mod , but i don´t have time now to configure vid mod, please try in this way and post here.  Edited June 9, 201410 yr by nachtfalke
