General overclocking

As tittle says........ What is the trick for wPrime to get lower scores?...... I've tested with my Rams in EVERY Config and I get about the same resault.......Example: 5-5-5-12 and 4-3-3-4 at 600MHz(1200MHz DDR) and then with 1:1 at 3-2-2-2 and 1:1 at 3-3-3-4 .......I keep geting the same resault...... So what's the "trick" of it?...... Thanks.....

This is about the "xxx results have changed rank or position in the last 7 days" "Most active members/teams/components in time period x" etc Please can the date peroid be explicitly given for these updates or please can we only be given this news once a week at a set time? To see it change every day "for the last 7 days" is realllllyyyyyy annoying and a bit confusing. A set of cutoffs would also be nice so we arent being given old data updated with new bits every day Is the data overlapping? or...is there an option for a user to disable the whole lot?

Hi! I don't know if here has been discussion about that. But my question concerns AMD Phenom II X2 and X3 CPUs. As we all know, theres a possibility to unlock some of these CPUs to X4. Can we use these unlocked CPUs in hwbot submissions? 3DMarks (2006, Vantage), 2D tests (wPrime), CPU-Z max? Tnx. EDIT: from rules: Tho, this quote doesn't say anything about unlocked cores... Lets say I have X2 550 unloced to 4-cores. I could use it for example superpi and submit it under 550 category. As we know, spii uses only one thread, so I don't have any advantage compared to "def" 550. But when it comes to wPrime...?

Just a question for future reference. Say you are running a x500 gpu and gpu-z shows x500/x300 as the card name. I assume you can only submit the results as an x500 correct? Could you run the x300 and post as an x500 being a less powerful card? How do you safeguard against this? Reason I ask is Im a lazy bastard and dont want to switch my WB from my fx3400 to my fx4400 if at all possible lol

Running A3 in Win 7 and having a problem printing screen. After hitting print screen and exiting A3, control/V only gives me a black screen in Paint. Am I missing something?

I got 2 Xeon E5504's on a Intel S5520SC and can't find a way to overclock those already tried setFSB, Clockgen and CPU-Tweaker but they all don't support the Intel 5520 Chipset =( In BIOS I cant change anything. Can someone help me please?^^ Or is it completely impossible? Cocaine112358

Every time when I want to submit pcmark 2004 score I got this error.. I can submit any other score now bu not pcmark04.. This is the ss of the error if helps.. What is the problem.. pcmark 04 submit supported no more ?

I've been looking through the rankings recently and noticed that basically every score up there is like this, with the bell grayed out. Are there really people out there reporting every single score that's being submitted to hwbot?

This is stupid..All because the POS ATI does not do it as well as Nvidia in Vantage..I think if you hdwr supports somekind of a enhancement in a bench then its legit no matter what this pos websight thinks...Whats the difference when you make Nvidia users shut it off as to leaving it on isnt that unfair to Nvidia just like yall seem to think its unfair to ATI to have it on........Serves ATI not to have put more thought into thier crappy design

With the new gainestown cpu's being able to run in the single socket 1366 boards as well as in the dual socket boards a problem arises for us 'dualie" guys. No way in hell to match most of the numbers that can be done on the single boards as the duals don't have the bios options for OC'ing that the singles do. I don't see an answer to the problem just thought I'd bring it up and maybe hear some thoughts on this. Thanks.

I've had a couple of nasty experiences with CPUZ lately... I use one CPU, and press F7, but when I upload it the link may lead to a different CPU. For instance the Athlon 64 2600 I asked Turrican to add. It WAS OK, but now it's linked to my old LE1660-validation.
