Old School is Best School Season 3 Round 5
TASOS replied to Strunkenbold's topic in HWBOT Competitions
Oups That's me This is one of my results. I was unstable and couldnt take the screenshot. i had instant freezes ... so i took a photo. The score is valid ... and it's obvious that the system is mine (no loan photo). If somebody complains about this score , you can do what you consider best. It's not a big deal for me , because i have an other score a few ms slower. TASOS`s SuperPi - 1M score: 1min 57sec 830ms with a Athlon 900 (Thunderbird, Slot A) Sorry for the extra moderating work. -

Congrats Kotori-san. Great score !!! -
My good friend hipro5 (which i thank ,very-very much) modded the board to become a K7V-T by adding the capasitors on the back side and by adding the resistor in the front side , (plus moving one of the existing ones). After that , i flashed the board to become a K7V-T It's the exact mod , described here Aufpoliert: Vom Asus K7V zum K7V-T(uning) No other mods done on this board. I will upload pics later.

Easter symbolizes the renewal of life. The most important religious celebretion for all Christians. This year , it's "Happy Easter to all Christians" Why "ALL" ? Because this year especially , Orthodox Christians and Catholics are celebrating Easter on the same day. This will not happen again , until 2025 !!! Want to now why ? (read the article) Why Orthodox Easter is the Same Day as Catholic Easter This Year | GreekReporter.com // I wish everybody here, good health, peace, love and happiness for you and your families.

I had the exact same problem. Disabling DMI or sensors or whatever in cpuz .ini didnt help. All cpuz versions that need to install into program files were causing me freezes. Only the old , stand alone cpuz versions were working. I uninstalled all cpuz versions i had in my os and restart. Then i removed all registry entries (regarding cpuz-cpuid) and restart. Installed 1.78.1 and it worked.

Thank you Scotty Good luck to you too. To tell you the truth , i dont like the board i got. It's a rev 1.04 but with the old defect B1 chipset. It maxxes out at 148 , so i'll have to unlock the cpus's multi (but i need a new pair of eyes for this). TASOS`s Cinebench - 2003 score: 544 points with a Athlon MP 2600+ (Thoroughbred) There's also too much voltage difference between cpu0 & cpu1. Measured with multimeter. Maybe i'll try a couple of bios ... but i'm almost certain it's a hardware issue.

I see you got a Bulk model , that has lower standard clocks. It would be interesting to see if they will have anykind of difference in final overclocking with the retail models. Who knows if they were binning back then ?
