Just some feedback for me bios 812 is best yet on dr b die. On sr b die it is a mess for daily use. Blue screen on reboots a lot of times. Went back to bios 707 and sr b die works great and no booting issues.

Might be good for XOC but not for daily and gaming from my experience on sr b die. Your mileage may vary.

I can't get the Strix to train with VDIMM 2v or higher, just gets stuck on code 12.

Is it maybe the missing VTT DDR Voltage?

This made life much easier, the ISO, Acronis TIBx and Macrium Reflect are all good starting points
I've got XP working on my Strix-A D4, added all the drivers I could so USB works and so does my PCI USB Adapter card
Here are some screenshots of the OS, I left mostly untouched because some of this stuff I'm not even sure what it is and I wanted to keep this OS as a base for making backup images for a Super Pi prepped and a 3dM01 prepped XP. So the file is large for an XP .GHO since I'm not a fan of heavy compression.
I believe this is based off of the Macrium Reflect backup and had a little surprise for me after letting it sit for a few minutes ?
The link to my file won't last long so hopefully someone  (Maybe @Leeghoofd ) could host it for longer term use

EDIT: 3rd pic is from Windows 7 but I'm leaving it anyways as it has to do with the Z690 Strix-A D4 board

Anyone else tested the new Bios 1001? I think my CPU needs less Vcore with this new Bios.. for pi32m at least. But SP changed from 79 to 66.

With Bios 1001 i cant boot a Mem Divider higher than 4267.. and i am talking about Gear 2..
Now i have flashed 0901.. first i've tested was Mem Divider and easy peasy boot with 4400.

All Tests with SR B-Die A1.

Bought a A2 SR B-Die Kit cause had only A0/A1. Just to test if my IMC act different.

With the latest 2 Bios Versions (0901 and 1001) i had a hard time but with 0812 i can easy boot 4266C17 1T Gear 1. :)

is Strix Z690-A capable of overclocking non K CPU like Apex/Hero in der8auer videos here?

901, no. i'll test 1001 now

1001 not working either. no option at all to change bclk on the i3. only apply xmp 1 or xmp11. i also tried turbov core and could not set even 101 bclk. just goes back to 100.
