Uhm, maybe I should say "unmixed" regions in that case. Let's just say there are three more tickets for EMEA this year :D

(j/k)

I asked if it was single GPU and they did not want to comment on that ... given the XPower II was their first official 4-Way board, who knows :P

hey pieter,

be sure one ticket reserved for Iran ;)

Whoa, interesting rules there! One can enter from 3 different ways , well thought Futuremark! :D :D

Btw, if Futuremark allow tesselation options to be disabled(which is unlikely :P), this should be a good battle between GTX 680 Lightning and HD 7970 Lightning, too bad the Afterburner Extreme for GTX 680 still not released until now..

so 3DMark 11 v1.0.3 and SystemInfo v4.9 required

and Tessellation required correct?

Lightning 680 is eligible?

yea lightning 680 will be the only contender. It's futuremark rules and tessellation MUST be on according to them.

Seems that you guys won't have any strong fun-competitors this time.

LOOC 2012 is even more expensive than MOA regional qualifiers. dRweEz you'd better buy several direct tickets to TP with the kidneys' money and ask MSI for the freestyle OC over there.

Only those who really need and want the ticket will try to fight. Good luck people!

you'd better buy several direct tickets to TP

This is an option I have been thinking about after seeing the format

before the start, two tickets are already out of reach of the hardware Vivi and I have at our disposal and with the 3rd relying on a lot of "maybes" or "what if" scenarios.

I'm not sure if i can justify spending even more money to get up to 4 cards, find a 5.7 X79 chip then add into the mix the tools we "need" are not available.

man the mind go's into overdrive just to try and calculate all the permutations and what hardware need to be found in order to prepare and give your self a chance.
