G.Skill new DDR3 Memory for upcoming Ivy Bridge Z77 Design, Specs and Price are know!!!

Recommended Posts

are Hypers a 'dud' even for the lowclock challenges where high CPU clocks won't cripple the memclocks?...it says Quad Channel

hypers have the same problem on SB-E higher vdimm needed for high frequency and they are good for 2200/2300 benching as you said for low clock challenges, BUT if you want benching on IVY you need high ram frequency, i still can't compare performance between high PSC and low Hyper, but i am sure high freq loose timing can beat low fre tight timing.

exactly :D , it's compatible with IB-E

Looking forward to seeing those scores when you can show us :)

I think I have a bigger Hyper problem than Sam :P

Intel's ever-so-lovely new visual BIOS was happy at 2133 for me too. It wouldn't allow one MHz of bclk (literally...it didn't post with one MHz increase), but it did run 2133 MHz memory this time. It did NOT like the dividers above that and, like raising bclk 1 MHz, led to no POST.

Hey, it's an improvement over the old Intel BIOS at least!

I got more out of the board when switching to Classic Mode. Did you test it?
