Good luck editing ES out of SS and not noticing. There's a reason CPU-Z centers text ;)

Doesn't seem hard to me to count pixels and get it centered with ES removed.

I was told the 780 Lightning wouldn't be available until August. Maybe that was a the world wide availability date or just something they made up. Either way crossin my fingers.

I hope it appears in July, it's the only way I'll be able to participate in this round. :celebration:

hw must be available before the competition starts otherwise it is not allowed

GTX 780 is already available. A lightning isn't, but the reference card is.

Even 780 Lightning is available, I don't believe it can beat a Titan... almost sure that the finalists will have a Titan scores.

GTX 780 is already available retail, not sure why a sub model such as 780 Lightning wouldn't be allowed to be used, pretty silly IMO. After all this whole deal is about marketing for MSI...

The rules are clear, no? If the card is not available at the beginning of the competition, it cannot be used.

- GTX 780 Reference = available => can be used

- GTX 780 Lightning = not available => can not be used

Doesn't matter what marketing or advertising value the card has.

that ain't right, 780 are avail so any flavor should be allowed... show me in the rules where ref and non ref cards are mentioned...

lol, whatever. You guys have fun in round 2, hope you don't roast too many Titan's in the name of marketing.

All ready out apparently, I will troll the local store tomorrow and see what is going on as mine should have them since I am very close to the San Jose Fry's where the first pics of a retail Costa cpu were re posted at XS.

From what I know, 2600K is not allowed, because even is older than 3570K, is stronger since 4C/8T > 4C/4T. (to benchs like 3DM11, Cinebench, Vantage ...)

Also.. nobody asked and used to 1st stage, so, why allow to 2nd stage?

This for class B, benches changed from prelim, and rule say any 1155 cpu 3570 or lower, 3770 not allowed.... so 2600/2700 being prior gen, should be allowed...
