Picked up this board the other day with a 4770k and did a fresh install of XP but i'm not able to install the chipset drivers from the cd. Also checked the gigabyte site and saw no support for XP any thoughts on how to or where the get drivers for install? I've seen a few subs using XP on this platform around the bot. Any help would be great.

Help me please, This is the submission with 3x3870, the gpuz says 3 crossfire gpu This is the submission with 4x3870, but the gpuz says crssfire avaiable ATI CCC says 4 way crossfire, but the gpuz not This submission is valid for 4 gpus??, I guess not I've tried several versions and "now" also says Disable for 3x3870 Disable (Crossfire available) Why? Whats the problem?? ... the punctuation bench is correct for 3 and 4 gpus crossfire!!

Hi there guys, I've got two NF3 250gb boards here which need the caps changing on them. Since they need to be changed, I though that maybe putting solid caps on them might help a little tiny bit as it should reduce the ripple going to the cpu. The caps that need changing are : 6 x 6.3v 3300 uF 4 x 16v 1500 uF 1 x 10v 1000 uF I've found the following caps and where wondering if they would be any good for the board. 6.3V 1500 uF 16V 1000 uF 10V 470 uF They are all solid caps, I've already bought them so one way or another I guess I'll find out soon enough. But if anyone could tell me why they wouldn't work then I suppose it would …

hi guy's, i have an 4870 here but its clocks are locked on its standard, so it can only go like 50 mhz higher, now ive read that you can flash the bios so it wil go over these settings, could anybody help me do that ? its my first time i wil do this so can you give me a detailed explanation please EDIT:i wil probably use it under SS and stock greetz FunSkilZZ

Right, so, I recently bought and installed a new motherboard to make use of 3-Way crossfireX. I got the ASUS Maximus V Extreme. I installed it and powered it on and it was all fine. However, while it does turn on and run my C drive and windows (I am typing this on it now), It doesn't output any picture until the windows login screen appears. This is frustrating as I cannot either access the UEFI BIOS or even run windows safe mode as, though I am fairly sure these features are working normally, I cannot see anything on the screen. Used some thermal epoxy to hold some heatsinks onto the card, as I was removing one it pulled the IC off, the legs are still on the board, but it doesn't look like i can solder it back onto the IC. does anyone know what these IC's are and where to get them, I tried googling the code but nothing came up http://postimg.org/image/6xsb4youb/ Thanks in advance

Hi guys, I have a problem with Nvidia 3D and 11, if I put it in default settings of the nvidia control panel I do well on the first test, but then the high FPS Test Physx Combinaded going slow, if I change other options, I goes well the Physx (Combinaded Test) high FPS but the first Test is going slow. So I do not get the two Test will stop me, as you set up your? You use the inspector? Settings for this Pass the Test with nvidia. The active with 1 GPU Physx? CUDA and GPU have 1 or All?
