Hey hi, if someone could tell me and fill me in, I've posted in marketplace > wanted, I'm looking for the gigabyte oc touch card, as well as the Asus Matrix Platinum oc touch card, sorta equivalent to the gigabyte oc touch but for matrix platinum cards, however I'm wondering if the Asus Matrix Platinum oc touch card may be redundant, because I know the Asus Matrix cards all have vga hotwire, so would using the vga hotwire on the Asus oc touch panel, which are plentiful, get me the same effect? Or does the actual oc matrix card have more options?

So the PWM controller on my HD 6970 is dying and started freaking out, So i made an adapter and connected the blower fan of the card to the motherboard, but the PWM signal from the motherboard is not good for this blower fan. Now i don't really now what to do, I thought about using something like a rasperry pi or arduino to provide a PWM signal to the fans. But i don't know how the signal should be since i don't have a HD 6970 with good PWM signal to measure. Is there a way to ensure that the duty cycle and RPM are synchronized? If there is a better way to do it i would like if you let me know

Hello. I have problem with this card, on card itself is lightning LE but according to Gpu-z bios is normal lightning because gpu clock shows 1080 Mhz and LE should have 1030 Mhz. if i run benchmark Pci-e shows that support pcie 3.0 x16 but card is running on pcie 1.1 x16. and gpu clock jump from 300Mhz (idle) to 576 Mhz which is weird. if i switch to Ln2 bios, gpu-z shows that gpu clock is 1000Mhz (which should be ok according to review of normal lightning) and if i run benchmark gpu clock jump to 1000mhz which is correct, but pcie shows pcie 3.0 x8. but card looks ok so i don't know why PCie act weird. And if LN2 bios clock work ok i think that standart bios might be br…

  6. Hi , I have a brand new : Asus Strix X670E E Gaming + AMD 7950X + G.skill Neo 6000 CL30 + Seasonic Prime 1300 I assembled them on the table to give them a key to see that everything is working properly. However, i only get the boot logo and it doesn't go past it, but it doesn't let me enter the bios either ( like in video) . I mention that it doesn't get stuck, I can turn the caps lock light on and off, and if I press ctrl+alt+del I restart the system. I tried with 3 different types of keyboards in different USB ports, with a dedicated and integrated video card. With 1 or 2 memories in different slots, with and without ssd on 2.5" sata or m2 nvme. …

  7. I think it is necessary to separate the results of a processor with EM64T support and without support for these technologies. There are several s478 processors with EM64T support and several motherboards based on "modern" chipsets, which will not allow you to achieve high results, but will allow you to formally pass some tests.

I have an i9-12900K and want the best performance possible. I would like to buy the GSkill 32 Gb 4000 Mhz CL14 Ram but its sold out everywhere! As an alternative i have these three options: - GSkill 32 Gb 4400 Mhz CL17-18-18-38 1.5V - GSkill 32 Gb 3600 Mhz CL14-14-14-34 1.45V - GSkill 32 Gb 4000 Mhz CL16-16-16-36 1.4V Which of these three kits are better binned? Which one will have the greatest possibility to archieve 4000 Mhz CL 14 manually on 1.55V? Right now im running 4000 Mhz CL 16-19-19-39 in Gear 1 without problems but i want to send it back I appreciate all replies and which you a great day!

Hi all, I will be building an AM5 system in the coming months, i've found the above ram 2x 16gb sticks for a steal of a deal. Now would it be worth buying these now for my AM5 rig? Or would it be better to wait for AM5 and other options? I'm not quite sure on what overclocking would be like for these. Some advice & recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

  15. Hi All, Just wanting some advise. I have a 10900k SP103. Currently 5.3GHZ all core @1.39V LLC 4 will hit 5.4GHZ but temps start to hit top end of 80's, not delided or running it with liquid metal. Ring is 5GHZ with a strong IMC. Is it worth swapping it out and going for a 12900k? my only niggle is if invest in a 12900K I might not be so lucky and get a golden chip.

Just sharing a bracket I designed to suit Alderlake. As you may or may not have heard, the stock ILM (hold down mechanism) is showing signs of bending the IHS on the Socket 1700 CPU's. My thoughts were: 1. Reduce the hold-down load on the CPU itself 2. Use the cooler as the pressure on the CPU 3. Have it fixed so the CPU cannot fall out (believe me, I tried tape myself, good results but poor support). 4. Allow those with Lapped CPU's and Lapped coolers to be able to maximise their contact without stuffing around with different washers to relieve the stock mounts pressure. Extreme overclockers have been working on many ways to help give a flat surface for those…

Hello, First of all, this is my first post on the HWBOT Community Forums. I've been submitting OCing results to HWBOT as a hobby for the past year or so, slowly learning the ropes of different platforms (mainly pre-UEFI-era, e.g. Socket A, 478, and especially 775). Sorry if this forum category is not the best for this post, and please go easy on me if some of these questions should be obvious. Now then, the meat of the matter. As of late, I'm try to get more out of my S775 OCs on water with my Asus P5E3 Premium, and one of things I haven't touched until now are GTL voltages (VTT and the ratios dividing it). Guides on the matter from Edge Of Stability and this X…

  20. So, I have a few GPUs that I suspect have a dead memory module. At least some nvidia diagnostic utility (MATS or MODS, whatever you want to call it) reports a gazillion read errors on just one particular OC on each card. The Windows error message is Core 43, which is kindof like "something is wrong somewhere". I figured it might be worth a shot to pay someone to try to fix these things. Swapping a memory IC isn't THAT complicated, I think? The cards seem OK otherwise. But, I don't know who I could ask. I'm located in Norway, and there are no advanced electronic repair shops around here that I can think of. Maybe there are some OK ones in Sweden, Denmark, Germany etc?…

I need to find out a ganged resistor value on the x79 Rampage iv extreme. It's on the back, same corner as the bios code display. I'm missing one of them, the one remaining is a 272.

Hi guys, I'm new! I ask you for help to choose the components of my new "retro gaming" pc. I would like to be able to exclude with you some components that could be problematic or too dated for example: - SATA socketless motherboards: IDE hard drives are always hard to find and if you find them they have bad sectors - DFI LanParty motherboards: my heart cries, but drivers are nowhere to be found and cost too much I would like to add value to other things instead: - Chipset ?? (Intel preferable to VIA?) - Possibility of SLI \ CrossFire - PCI express or AGP + PCI express support: agp video cards tend to be in short supply in recent years
