  3. it's the package temp that's most important under load. Socket temp is better for idle reading. I can't remember exactly why this was but I believe the temp reading are very inaccurate on the package when at low temps.

  9. It's the convenience of it more than anything. Especially when testing 775 or 1366 platforms, you're going to get a pretty good idea of your max before moving on to LN2 and wasting time testing. For my that's why I'd get one anyway but I understand why people wouldn't see the point in them.

  11. btw a 4GB module is also more stress on the NB. Have you got a 1GB or 2GB module to put in there?

  13. It's not a great idea to run that kind of voltage for -100c and it might kill it yes. But it's not a guarantee like on air.
