Guest Digg_de Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 Damn 3000G CPU isnt cheap for me because i dont have any AM4 Board. I am in at first Comp with a VGA. ? Quote
mickulty Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 If there's a 3000G comp, I'm going to use a b-series motherboard. Cheapest on OCUK is the Asrock B450M-HDV R4.0 last time I checked. Quote

Crew Leeghoofd Posted January 29, 2020 Author Crew Posted January 29, 2020 who's talking bout S775.... if we host AGP it will be on S478... no need for unlocked extreme CPUs... Quote
yosarianilives Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 I think an agp comp of any sort would be fun, but not a cheapaz Quote
bigblock990 Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 AGP and s478 compo? Isn't that what OSiBS is all about ha ha 1 1 Quote
Crew Leeghoofd Posted January 29, 2020 Author Crew Posted January 29, 2020 (edited) CPUs cost 5 bucks, most here have S478 boards... sounds cheapaz to me Try benching one of these old mofos Brady and come back OSIBS is even for older "dinosaur" hardware Edited January 29, 2020 by Leeghoofd 1 Quote
ObscureParadox Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 That's why I suggested 775 P4, just more people have the boards. Quote
yosarianilives Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 Imho cheapaz should only require buying a single piece of hw, that's why it's always been pcie dgpu. Although if we're doing an igp comp at the same time for cheapaz too then throwing in a s478 agp comp could be viable I suspose. So do it like Season 4 Div 1, 2, 3 similar to challengers. I mean in that sense we would cover the 3 main sockets for gpu. Makes me wonder if we could do a div 4 and 5 for mobo igp and pci gou Quote
Noxinite Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 (edited) I was mostly joking. Because it seems everyone wants their idea for this comp. Edited January 29, 2020 by Noxinite 1 Quote

mickulty Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 s775 P4 and s478 AGP would make great team cup stages 2 Quote

Crew Leeghoofd Posted February 7, 2020 Author Crew Posted February 7, 2020 We have the poll right to pick the GPU, currently in the lead is HD 5770, but there is a very similar Juniper based card the HD 6770. My question is: Round 1 with HD 5770 only or HD 5770 + HD 6770 Round 2 with GTS 450 or 550Ti Round 3 with GTX 950 1 Quote
