你好,先生。 新的 beta bios 的版本號比上次發布的版本號低的任何原因?

或者它是一個較舊的 beta bios 但有另一個微碼? 廢了,我瞎了

感謝所有的支持,好先生。

Update; oN CALL WITH SUPPORT NOW AND HE'S STATING IT IS A REFURB NOT NEW LIKE OTHER PEOPLE AND THAT IT IS MANIFACTURED IN 2021 DEC.....

Such a kick in the balls.

You just talking before even fire up the  board. Not even a screen shot result from your old apex board. Show us your testing results then talk!

Here in brooklyn we say: pics or it didnt happen!

I tried 4 Apex, all 2021, all 4 can do 7000+ with dual channel or B1 slot, but quad channel or A1 the wall is at 6600 for bios v1304 or 6400 v1403, higher than that TM5 will fail in seconds, tried with different CPUs and different Kits.

4/4 to me seems that 2021 batch is pretty doomed

Also a Hero 2021 same issue and same behavior with the bios versions

a cheap TUF Z690 can do 6600 C32 Tight easy easy... from an Apex we should have way more than that

I talked to them today. They didn't put a reason for the issue on my paper work that they sent with the new motherboard. When I talked to them today they stated that it was a hardware issue on the motherboard when overclocking per their notes, that they can not fix on the motherboard. I noticed with the old board that when using memory timing configurator that the memory voltages never did get read correctly while others didn't seem to have that issue.

This new mother board, it's reads them correctly. Whatever it is that might also be an indicator that you have the issue is my educated guess.

Update:

Played bf2042, GTA v and Red Dead without a single issue. Ran tm5 memory test, passed. Seems solid as a rock so far.

I ran Extreme TM5 by anta last night and woke up to this~!

image.thumb.jpeg.262d103c2e694be9fc7c5a2d84c72f65.jpeg

Pushing again now too~!

Lets Go!

image.thumb.jpeg.53e2ecd8832846dbd985c5296ac9b0e7.jpeg

It passed but I clicked okay like a goofball because I was watching a show with my wife when it passed. I'll run it again tomorrow to post the pass screen while I'm at work.

This is such a better experience. I'll start trying to push the 1 command rate once I get two pushed and save the settings and post the settings for it voltages and all.  I'll push it further as I pass and save profiles.

I had issues passing y-cruncher tweaked voltages little and finally passed it. Moving on up. Haters suck, lol.

6800MHz, climbing up. I managed to pull 6100MHz cr1 but, wanted to push faster right now and it's working for the first time ever.

Is there any reason for Asus still don't list F5-6400J3239G16GX2 kits on their Memory QVL list for the Z690 Apex board? I who thought their 2 sticks boards was solely their OC boards and that Asus would put more focus on memory validation for that board. They have it on their  Memory QVL list for the 4 sticks Hero board. Oh' well, I expect they can't/or didn't have time to list it for both motherboards. I wonder if this has something with the low CAS timings mentioned G.skill sticks. I can't see it another ways why they did it so. So, weird they scrapped this sticks for the Apex board. Anyone who know the real reason? Thanks.

I've been going at tweaking this thing now I know that it's stable finally and have landed at 6933 tighter timings and stable so far, 6200 ct1 as well which I have saved as a profile that I can load if I want but, for now I'm pushing it as fast as I can get it to go and saving progress as well to another profile that I started.

whats the deal with cpu L2 voltage on the apex.

Its seems to be available in some bios files but others not, meanwhile there is another heading in the same position for another voltage that then dont exist in some bios versions. - Global core SVID voltage.

SLI complexities.  I have loaded the 1101 BIOS and use plain vanilla Win7 professional SP1. I have tried with Nvidia drivers 365.19 , 388.43 , 418.91 drivers but with none of them i can get the SLI to start with my GTX 780 Ti's.  Is there any limitations and settings that need to be tweaked in the ASUS Bios before it can work or what might be the issue. I have tried both with the SLI HB bridge and a normal SLi bridge.

Hmm, 1101 bios is the first bios for the APEX that supports SLI. Have you tried any newer ones from Asus website directly ?
I remember trying GTX 580's after Peter released the first bios over at OCN and I had no issues. I also believe I was on Win 7 when I tried. Maybe try the most recent Kepler driver for W7 473.62. I know they said 470 was going to be the final one but they have released and recommend this one

did try 1101, 0072, 1403 none works on win7 SLI on 780ti nor 980 ti.  in Window 10 I did get 1403 to work on SLI with both 780 ti and 980 ti and yes i tried also the 473.62 driver to no avail

After holiday trying TM5 with 1T @ 6400 and got this ;)

All hot air ambient nothing special, and by far 9902 BIOS is still the best at least on my set

This is really impressive and is 100 mhz faster than my daily with almost the same settings. By comparing our timings and settings what is really clear to me is how much TWRRD_sg and TWRRD_dg play in how far you can push. By increasing the values you are able to lower several other timings and increase your overall frequency. I was trying to figure out what was limiting me and you've provided the answer! See my screenshot below:

which bios is ok for win XP. meanwhile I see the ACPI file and integrated it, OS still works on my apex  z490 still but nothing on z690. 7B error still. Meanwhile is there also new AHCI files we need?

z590 acpi files should work

Thanks to speed.fastest I was able to do Command Rate 1 at 6400 mhz - unbelievable! In fact, I was able to replicate his screenshot almost verbatim. What a board! Thanks, man! ? See below:

Im glad it helped, its lilttle tricky to find daily stability testing on ddr5 in my test too! I can boot 6600 1T and doing benchmark but no stability in TM5.

Speed.Fastest,

Wouldn't 6600 1T perform better than 7000+ 2T? I guess this is purely a latency vs bandwidth question... Does command rate have any influence on memory bandwidth? I don't know the answer but I suspect it is no....

I observe circulating newer 0086 & 0090 BIOS. (Release month around April / march IIRC). Can we have it?
0086 BIOS posted here is released around January 2022.

So far I'm using the retail BIOS posted on the web. So far so good.

Many thanks...
