l0ud_sil3nc3 Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Costa Rica C batches seem to be winners:) 5.2 @ 1.35 4c 4t is awesome Viss, and it has a great IMC. cold test incoming? Quote
jjjc Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 +1... UP boards especially are looking very good. Finally got hold of some Costa Rica chips today, they're not so easy to find here. 2 x 3218B460 with some quick air testing, LN2 coming early next week. First chip: My first air stable 5ghz Ivy. IMC looks good too, 8M 2800mhz almost pass with no voltage changes to IMC. 2nd CPU posted 5gig 1.36v won't boot into XP even with 1.4v. LN2 Quote
sin0822 Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 interesting, so your 5GHz CPU did 6.6 SPI 32M that is very good! Quote

Xtreme Addict Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 ;190464']tested air¿? both don't enter windows @ 5 ghz air, no matter voltage Quote
l0ud_sil3nc3 Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 both don't enter windows @ 5 ghz air, no matter voltage fuuuuuu, I don't even want to waste LN2 if they don't boot 5ghz, and you still ended up with a 6.7 1c 1t. Makes me wish I would have tested the ones that didn't boot 5ghz on air under cold:( however I just picked up a new Malay with this batch #: L223B796 testing tonight on air, hoping its not a turd. sin0822 Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 so it seems that higher leakage CPUs clock higher? However my 6.7G CPU boot at 5ghz easily and I can max valid at 5.3 on air, i have nother that does 5.3 on air, but doesn't do 6.7g. I have a 3570K that wont do 5Ghz no matter what and it max valid is 6.3 Quote
