Atlas Rush Posted July 6, 2013 Share Posted July 6, 2013 Cache voltage is way too high, for that frequency 1.25 should be enough bro, be careful! However liquid temperatures? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

However liquid temperatures? pretty sure dumo knows what he is doing besides when you push imc to limit you need to lower cache and cpu speed pretty interested to see you cpu cache speed,i've noticed that good clocking cpu's reach high cache speed too while dumb cpu suck in every way(including cache...)... Atlas Rush Posted July 6, 2013 Share Posted July 6, 2013 Ciruzzo have u tried running 4800 uncore at less than 1.4 Yep, Linx solid @ 4.8GHz with 1.25v on cache voltage pretty sure dumo knows what he is doing besides when you push imc to limit you need to lower cache and cpu speed pretty interested to see you cpu cache speed,i've noticed that good clocking cpu's reach high cache speed too while dumb cpu suck in every way(including cache...)... well, at that frequency, it's useless heat generated, it's just too much :\ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
thebanik Posted July 7, 2013 Share Posted July 7, 2013 So 4.6Ghz with 1.16 Volts is good, Hyper pi and Linx stable? 4.8Ghz even till 1.22V is not possible though, working on it still. A decent chip would require how much for 5Ghz 4c/8t? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Alex@ro Posted July 7, 2013 Share Posted July 7, 2013 4.6 with 1.16 lynx is monster cpu,can you try 2c2t 5 ghz for 2d benches?very good ones do it around 1.2-1.25... Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
@rne Posted July 7, 2013 Share Posted July 7, 2013 4670K L312B250: Prime 26.6 4,5GHz 1,18V SPI 32m 4,9GHz 1,33V SPI 32m 5GHz? -> not even bootable at 1,42V... Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
K404 Posted July 7, 2013 Share Posted July 7, 2013 Personally, I don't care how little voltage a chip needs to do 4.6GHz. UNLESS....a person wants 4.6GHz for 24/7. Has anyone found a good LN2 chip that won't do 5Ghz on air? I wonder if we should consider a second binning point: CPU-Z or boot MHz at 1.40v (same idea as Netburst binning) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Alex@ro Posted July 7, 2013 Share Posted July 7, 2013 interesting facts,my cpu is not very good at primie at low freq,does 4.5 with 1.21,4.6 with 1.26,but as soon as i disable HT i can boot 5 ghz wxp with 1.31 and run 32M and 2001 at 1.35.5100 with 1.41,5200 with 1.46(it gets too hot).All on air,will take it cold soon. HiVizMan Posted July 7, 2013 Share Posted July 7, 2013 L316B291 1.46v for 4.7GHz not tested on cold yet. L310B479 1.2625V 5.0GHz on Air Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Andrix85 Posted July 7, 2013 Share Posted July 7, 2013 4570K L311B438 1.4V for 5 GHZ on single stage...very very bad batch or on LN2 could be better ? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(hope yes because i have the same) what motherboard you use please ? i hope tomorrow i have maximus VI gene.. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Crew Vivi Posted July 10, 2013 Crew Share Posted July 10, 2013 Im confused at these cpu's, tested 7 from the same batch, ALL CB was -127, it seems to be the norm, i had 1.38 5ghz / 1.4 5ghz / 1.42 5ghz / and bunch of non-5ghz. The scaling from best to worst was according to 5GHZ on air clocks, EXCEPT my 1.25v 5ghz cpu sucked on ln2 and had -100 cb. im wondering if thats the reason HKPEC sell so many 1.25v 5ghz cpu's for air users, i wonder if there is a threshold or relationship to low v chips and warm CB's. i dont really know what to think cause im sad i found a good cpu that sucked ln2 . from my experience, L311B512 was nice, 5.95 cinebench, and probly 6 if you push. L310B488 all were nice, my nicest one 6ghz cinebench and 6.275 32m, but still not close to 8Packs 6.55 32m chip, wonder what it needed for 5ghz. WHERE ARE YOU COSTA RICA Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Hiwa Posted July 10, 2013 Share Posted July 10, 2013 Vivi i have 1.2 5g with -135 cb All cpus i tested are lower than 1.30 and all cb around -125/-135 only one -165 but bad clocker But all cpus ES and all 6s batch 48 so very close to retail. Yea my 1.4 CPU's reach 6.4 almost so i guess it makes sense that some of the 1.25v guys do 6.6 like 8 Pack's. Just a matter of time till we find them Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ponteral Posted July 12, 2013 Share Posted July 12, 2013 Hi I'm new here. My CPU is like crap I guess. My Batch is L313B846. With noctua NH-D14 I'm not able to run 4,5Ghz... always BOSD 1.300V, 1.350, 1.375, and also 1.400. So I decided to send my CPU back and I will look for L310B488 or L310B4xx. I read this topic and it looks like the best BATCH. Is that possible to buy somewhere this BATCH? Thanks.. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
FireKillerGR Posted July 12, 2013 Share Posted July 12, 2013 (edited) the 4770K ES 4.7 GHz cinebench and 3d11 physics stable with 1.20v on air 4C/8T 4.8 GHz cinebench and 3d11 physics stable with 1.256v on air 4C/8T 5Ghz on air not possible Same cpu on SS (-20C) 5 GHz spi32m with 1.24v 4c/8t 5.1 GHz spi32m with 1.27v 4c/8t wprime 32m 4c/8t with 1.28v but cpu's temp reached +17C so I didnt test more next step: cascade Edited July 12, 2013 by FireKillerGR Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
NoMS Posted July 13, 2013 Share Posted July 13, 2013 CPU: i7 4770K Batch: 3312B707, so yes, it's Costa Rica. How it overclock? 4.6GHz 1.4V Cinebench on air (Prolimatech Megahalems Black + Scythe Ultra Kaze 133CFM) 4.475GHz 1.3V XTU with peak of 88C. My Conclusion: It's an crap chip.
