I like it! Will you be testing the better samples for higher frequencies (5GHz)?

Yeah sure!

But maybe have to wait a while since these cpus will be used for an Indonesian amateur oc tournament next week :)

Hi guys, i'm testing a 6700k cpu Batch#L520B669

1,31VID - 4.6ghz@1,30v (cinebench).

But i've a problem, in idle state the cpu always scale down to 40x. I've disabled speedstep and c-state, only turbo mode enable, but always scale down.

I miss somethings?

Very high vid frank....try if you can boot at 5ghz...and your max xtu stable on air/wc....if you are under 4.8 u can sell it

Tested 2 pcs 6700K, L523B383

#1 VID 1.312V. 4.7G CineBench 1.40V

#2 VID 1.292V. 4.7G CineBench 1.38V. (4.8G CineBench 1.45V).

XTU on both chips requires an additional 0.01mv. No delid.

anyone else get really weird scaling with their CPU?

My 6700K can easily do 5.5GHz with less than 1.6v XTU stable, but 5.6GHz 4c/8t isn't stable on even Cinebench at any volts, just the strangest thing and not sure where my issue lies........

If it's the CPU then will just get the 5.5GHz XTU run done and sell on.

Sounds like a voltage issue... Where are PLL volts?

In the right place xD:P No combination of PLL volts makes a difference, at full pot vs -120c at 5.5GHz it acts the same, second it gets to 5.6GHz it's a no go... don't want to give up on the CPU but running out of LN2 here xD

Do it anyway, you might get suprized :D

My fear is that if the CPU really is this bad and that my oc issues aren't temp related then delidding is just going to be a risk of killing a CPU with no gain and that in turn makes it harder for me to sell later :(

all aircooled

6700K L525B711 VID 1.296v

boot at 5G 1.48v reject

6700K L525B504 VID 1.31v

2x 6700K L519C193 VID 1.37v

#1 boot at 5G 1.50v and 32M stable reject

#2 cannot boot 4.9G 1.50v reject

6700K L525B538 VID 1.37v

boot 5G at 1.45v, 0.02v higher 32M stable
